Today after 2 years of doing powerlifting and wanting to go to a competition while worshipping Mark Rippetoe, I realized powerlifting is a complete meme. After going back to my old 6 days a week push pull legs routine, my whole body hurts, I realized that just because you can squat, it doesn't mean it'll keep you out of the retirement home, and guys who spam bicep curls to get girls at the gym are unironically happier, have higher test and libido than powerlifters, thanks to this meme training style i lost my good physique and obtained ab fat, skinny arms and a big ass, that's pretty much it. I have kept the compounds but now I work out every part of my body, and am back to not being ashamed to look myself in the mirror.More volume and variation is unironically king.
