LikeMonday - PushWednesday - LegsFriday - Pull
Basically, yeah. Doing that now instead if 6x a week like i did for several years. I feel like my energy levels peaked and i got plateaued and cutting my lifts and cardio in half i guess is helping with my recovery. Maybe it's partly a mental thing now my schedule is a lot busier.
PPP, fuck leg days.
>>77219537Did that as an absolute noob when i stopped going with my friend who did brosplit, good luck progressing anywhere with that
>>77219561Just do PPLPPxx
>>77219537Trying this starting next week coincidentallyPPLxFullBody Wanted to move from a 5 day routine down to 4 days but can't be fucked doing Upper/Lower again
>>77219537I did this for a couple years and made fuckall for progress. Switched to full body and have made more gains in a few months than that whole time.
>>77219537I do UCLCU.>Monday upper with push emphasis>Tuesday cardio >Wednesday lower>Thursday cardio>Friday upper with pull emphasisWorks pretty well for me.
just do upper lower 4 times a week
>>77219648I would argue you mostly just have a pump all the time now.
PPLxPPL is bad unless you do it like, P (compounds) P (isolation) L (compounds) x P (isolation) P (compounds) L (isolation) for reasons. PxPxLx is good if you turn it into sorta whole body. Really push yourself on Push and throw in Pull/Legs between Push sets.
>>77219858Sounds really dumb to me but maybe you could post body to back up your opinion and prove me wrong
>>77219561Post legs
i do full upper body twice a week and one leg daymonday upperwednesday legsfriday upper
>>77219537I've been running this for a while but skipping legs mostly and i look pretty great. No i won't post body.
>>77219858i do ppl x ppl x and have for years. 2x weekly frequency to hit body parts is usually recommended by just about everyone. why would you think this is bad?
>>77220187do you do same amount of upper push and pull exercises each day or emphasize one or another as >>77219658?how many upper exercises total do you do and how long does it take?
>>77219537yea, it works wonders1 set warmup2 set all in seen my records go to shreds
i dont even know how people recover training 6 days a week natty on a PPLPPLX routine, that shit is impossible if youre lifting year roundi really think the people who do it are the type of people who lift for like 1-2 months then quit for 6 months and start over again every year or so, so they never reach the point where theyre overtrained because they arent year-round lifters
For me it's PL (push, legs)
>>77219537I literally do that, and it is my favourite workout plan. I also go for walk and bike rides and take care of house/gardening chores on the off days so I'm always active. Lifting weight every day is for preening homosexuals.
>>77221317Its novices lifting baby weight. So reddit incarnate. Literally unsustainable natty with actual weight on the bar.
>>77219537Yes but then I turned it into U/L/U
