I made a weight loss calculatorwould appreciate some feedbackhttps://tomsweightlosscalculator.online/
>>77220510>would appreciate some feedbackYou're going to want to change this to feet and inches
>literally assumes the body is a bomb calorimeter in a space vacuum with linear energy outputDo cicotrannies really ?
>>77220521done, thank you>>77220525well if your brain passes out from time to time due to lack of oxygen you'll not have a linear energy output. But I can't implement every edge case like yours into my tool
>>77220510This is vibe-coded, isn't it.
>>77220525Flat calorie theorists are dumber than flat earthers.
It's giving nutrition facts label
>>77220525If I change my diet so that on average I eat half of what I normally eat daily, in terms of mass, while keeping the same proportion of the different foods that comprise my diet, will I tend to gain or lose weight?
>>77220597I started this project in January 2025. Most of the logic I did myself, hundreds of commits. There isn't such a calculator with the graphs and multiple formulas. And back then with AI it looked terrible or I'd say not possible without a lot of time. Models were Gemini 1.5 pro and 4o back then. For all the UI stuff I used AI and I ran it through AI multiple times, the new models got way better. still doesn't mean it was easy to do, took me over a year now to get a version where I was comfortable with making it public. For now the only issue I see is that I think its too big. So if you'd look at the code now it looks 100% ai because it was rewritten many times by AI
>>77220615Trick question because depending on what you used to eat you're just gonna end up malnourished or mess with your hormons.
>>77220624>Eating half of what you were prior can lead to anything besides weight lossIncorrect
>>77220634>>Eating half of what you were prior can lead to anything besides weight lossCan you point out where exactly in my post this has been stated ?
>>77220622So its vibe-coded but you are ashamed of that. Gotcha.
>>77220615depends on your maintenance and activity level.Cut too deep and your body goes in to starvation mode - you'll lose muscle and fat and you'll feel like shit doing it.Better to find your maintenance level - burn fat through cardio - like walking - and eat well - higher quality protein, less fat, less carbs and build muscle which will burn calories. You'll look and feel better doing it and less likely to regain fat after - have to keep it up though.
>>77220525No, but that does make a good basis model to build a more complex model on.
