When did you take the powerlifting pill?

Bodybuilding natty sucks, you either look small or have to juice.

everything sucks when ur natty. ur gonna be a weakshit when u powerlift natty too lil bro. u will never deadlift 1000+ natty. its over lil bro
>>
>>77226697
At least you can eat good when powerlifting.
>>
who else here getting stronk?
>>
>>77226697
I benched 400 natty at 195. Though I agree, you won't get any real recognition for it especially with people who don't know much about powerlifting.
>>
>>77226722
What are your lifts like now?
>>
>>77226640
>you either look small or have to juice.
This is the same thing with powershitting. You either have weak lifts or you juice. Same thing with strongman, olympic lifts, bodybuilding, any athletic endeaver broski.
Most powershitters are just coping hard by tricking themselves into thinking it's okay to be a big fat fuck who skips cardio and eats like shit when its extremely unhealthy.

Powerlifting is so great for women because it makes them build giant fat asses designed for sitting on your face
>>
>>77226827
smells??
>>
the training is fucking boring
proper bodybuilding training where you train your asshole and hamstrings to aesthetic perfection is fucking boring and gay too
therefore I do a SBD-heavy PPL split (refuse to use the buzzword)
shit's fun :P
>>
>>77226640
I don't powerlift. I like slowly raising the weight and overcoming plateaus. Not only bench, squat, DL. Muscles are just a nice bonus, I would still do it even i looked same as every other normie
Been lifting for 17 years btw

Powerlifting isn't very rewarding.
You're almost guaranteed to injure your spine in one way or another.
You look worse than you would by doing a standard "bodybuilding" routine (so basically a multivector training focused on many groups instead of lifts).
Your strength is largely neurological and quickly faced whenever confronted with a less orthodox task (ironically enough bodybuilding might prepare you better).
Your general athleticism and mobility might suffer.
Normies will always be more impressed by basic calisthenics tricks than by lifting a metal rod with some metal plates.
IMO focusing on hypertrophy and well balanced safe workouts has much better ROI than chasing big lifts and this is what most long time lifters eventually figure, this is why 30+ yo dudes with a decent amount of mass rarely go crazy with barbells.
I know some people will be offended by this post but it is what it is and it takes years to understand this shit after being brainwashed by the internet obsession with the big three and what not.

This is such a meme posts by someone who clearly doesn't lift or is very new at least
Bodybuilding and powerlifting are equal in that if you do them wrong it's on you for being a retard, you can get injured on both 1pl8 and 4pl8 of any given lift if you're a mouthbreather
>Muh odds
It's always a coin flip aka 50/50
>Your strength is largely neurological and quickly faced whenever confronted with a less orthodox task (ironically enough bodybuilding might prepare you better).
Means nothing
Anyone who can pick up a bar loaded with 200kg a few times up and down will have way easier time moving furniture and can even translate it into athleticism
>IMO focusing on hypertrophy and well balanced safe workouts
Load of buzzwords, you want to get big you eat and lift big
>this is why 30+ yo dudes with a decent amount of mass rarely go crazy with barbells.
Lol what ?

Nothing about weightlifting is rewarding if you aren’t doing it for yourself in a natural and sustainable manner.
This is why people who think “it’s not worth it natty” are retarded because even geared up they won’t be as strong as the true freaks and in the end they’ll just destroy their body physically and chemically, and they look disgusting and fat too so socially they don’t even get the recognition they crave. Just having the personal satisfaction of being able to lift weights you trained for naturally and know you can continue to do so without buckets of synthetic substances feels so good, plus I look good too. Roidtranneis truly have a mental illness.

I can't honestly blame you for shitting on me, but I've been in the game long enough to know certain things are false gods. Everyone has their own journey though, if you're some prodigy PL prospect with mega durability, then more power you.

>I benched 400 natty at 195.
being a vampire isn't natty

>I benched 400 natty at 195 on a machine
FTFY
>>
>>77228110

>strength is largely neurological
if you're below 300 DOTS maybe. Past 350 you start having to look big to lift big
>>
>>77226789
I hit 375 on bench the other day without prep so 400 is still there if I peak. At this point, a lot depends on the right conditions (bench height, the bar itself). But the sacrifices you need to make to be at the right gym are not worth it for me anymore (based on my current location).
>>77228312
Machines don't go up to 400 bucko. If you're referring to Smith, then it's actually harder to bench very heavy on it because of the sub-optimal bar path
