Do you stand on your feet a lot?Well stop if you do. It's literally stretching your feet out every time you stand. Your body can only tolerate it so much.

>>77228943I can usually alleviate mine with foam rolling. Start with the ankle and calf and work your way up until you find the problem spot. Sometimes I find it near the top of my hamstring. Hamstring glides help too. Try good mornings or RDLs for long term maintenance.
I started using toe spacers at night along with all the other normal stuff that’s recommended for it. I read something about big toe being cramped can cause less blood flow so gave it a try. Recovery seemed to improve a bit after starting with the spacers but who fucking knows, PF will drive you insane trying to recover. I once had it in both feet, changed shoes and one healed in literally a week the other took a few months.

>>77228943I used a tenis ball to massage the foot and stretched the calves; immediate relief. Also, check if your shoes have the heel lower than the ball of the foot. My heels were digging through my work boots back when I was suffering with that crap.
As an expert walker, I did the 100,000 step challenge successfully last year and averaged 43000 steps per day last year.The key is unless you be stepping, you best be sitting. Being on your feet is a privilege. Also stretch your calves often and soak your feet.

Had this happen to me jog-hiking, pointy rock right on the heel, took a week to be normal
