cycling is the best core workout there is. do it for your abs, not for cardio! crunches and planks are boooriiiing
>>77230613I can only bike a mile because I'm a fat shit
>>77230617try it in the gym then! you can lift some weight afterwards
shoot on sight
Car just got written off so I'm buying muh dream bike soon, will be my only mode of transport but gonna hit local trails as well
>>77230641why the hate, cruncher
>>77230665gay time robbers, shoot on sight, net benefit
>>77230641This. The road is for cars. Also swimming gives way better core workout and cardio and is more fun than being honked at by traffic.
>>77230613why are road bikes so fucking expensive
Cycling on public roads is a great way to get killed. And the guy who runs your ass over will get away without prison time.
>cyclist is the best core workout>has never done a dolphin kick with fins for more than half a lane
>>77230613Bikes are for dykes
>>77230795Wouldn't unicycling technically be better for your core?
>>77230613Cycling is great for legs and cardio but it’s shit for core. Serious cyclists will tell you to supplement your training with core exercises
>>77230613I used to cycle a lot however I stopped because my legs are knocking together when cycling (pic related) and I am worried that this is the reason I look like crippleand idk what to do, anyone experience this?
>>77231032get a bigger bike
>>77231032raise seat height
>>77230729>why are road bikes so fucking expensivebikes are like cars. you can buy used good ones 4-5 years old for good price. you dont have to only buy a 5k carbon bike.
>>77230729>hurr durrI started with the cheapest on here and used it every day for commuting to work and weekends for 4years. I swapped the seat and peddles.
>>77230613cycling gives you a fat goblin belly because it makes your lungs bigger and they push down into your stomach
>>77230613I don't want to wear something like that in public
>>77230613it should be legal to run cyclists off the road
I like biking but I only use the gym bike
I've been cycling for 3-4 years regularly and all it's given me is a bigger butt and bigger thighs and quads. Cycling on gravel roads is superior because it increases rolling resistance, usually better scenery (gravel roads are kino, as they say) and generally fewer cars zipping by, if any. It's also good for your brain having to constantly adjust and take different lines to avoid washout etc.
>>77230729You can buy a used road bike in a pawn shop for 200$ and it will be 5% slower than a 5k+ new one.
>>77231245This is the most retarded sentence I have ever heard on fit.Thank you
