Is losing weight if you're fat easier? If weight loss/gain is just calories consumed/spent imbalance, how come people don't gain/lose weight indefinitely?

Yes, absolutely. I know a morbidly obese man that lost like 30kg a month just by eating a bit less and doing zero exercise. He literally sits in front of the TV all day.

Once you are no longer morbidly obese you can't expect insane rates of weight loss like that. And the last 3-4 kg before you are ripped are the absolute hardest to get rid of.

yes, its why you commonly hear normies with the statement "i keep losing and gaining the same 5 lbs", when theyre in the 20-22 bmi range. its insanely difficult to keep losing weight once youre close to underweight.
