Anyone have experience using cinch clips?

I've been lifting for like 15 years at this point and I still have to find one good use case for these clips, maybe outside ez bar curls and skullcrusher. If you fail squats you want to be able to dump. If you fail bench you certainly want to be able to dump. Deadlifts and rows it has zero use because why would you not have balance. I know they use them at the olympics and at power lifting events but I don't really get it. I would ASSUME it's because they drop the weights from anywhere, and I'd get kick out of my gym if I did that.

But I have a hard time imaging them not robbing rom, because if you do a slight arch (not a meme power lifting stance) and go touching your chest, what are those bars going to do? I bench 2 plates not sure why that matters. I've done a roll of shame once, never dumped weight.

FUCK SPRING COLLARS
