you barely lose anything even doing nothing for a month if you have lifted for a few months. at most a few reps or lbs. do not worry too hard about it, as long as you eat normally.

I wish I knew that naturals need to bulk and maingaining is a meme. Everyone shilling that approach got where they are by dirty bulking and powerlifting (NH comes to mind) or took a ton of gear like Greg Doucette

For about 2 years when I first started I was actually showing up at the gym consistently and my split was decent, trained very hard but struggled to increase the weight on any lift, I wasn't really getting anywhere because I wasn't eating. 2 years and my bench was 1.5pl8 with 14" arms. You just can't stay 150lbs forever if you actually want to get somewhere. It only took me like 4 months or bulking to bench little over 2pl8 and get my arms to 16", then I kept like 90% of that size and strength after cutting. I'm currently at a 3pl8 bench a few years later

/fit/ always told me to bulk and I wish I listened from the start, could be way ahead of where I am right now if I did. thats one of the few good bits of advice that goes around on this board a lot

Can confirm. I was anorexic in 2022. Decided to channel the underlying autism into a gym regimen in 2023. Relapsed in 2024 and was objectively sicker with my body shutting down in ways it didn't in 2022.

Still maintained a lot of my 2023 muscle and virtually all of my strength. Went from curling 5-6 kg dumbbells to 8-10, though I was down to just 8s and 7.5s after ELEVEN MONTHS OF SELF-SABOTAGE and low test throughout the last six of them.

Raw meat is our natural diet and the ultimate life hack. Especially if you go full high-fat carnivore.

Everything in your body will work 100% better when you eat raw meat and raw eggs.
Your muscle mass will grow and be maintained easier, you will get in much better shape much more easily.
Your body fat will melt off your body no matter how much you eat, and you'll get a flat abdomen with minimal exercise.
Your skin will glow and be perfectly clear, especially if you quit plant toxins and poisons like alcohol, refined sugar and caffeine.
Any cuts, bruises or wounds you get will heal freakishly fast. Your hair and teeth will become stronger.
Your mind will be much sharper, and you will have consistent energy throughout the day. You'll be able to fast for a couple of days very easily once you're fat-adapted.
You will also spend almost no time preparing food, no cooking, no cleaning pots and pans. You'll save hundreds of hours a year just by not cooking.
Old scars that you've had for even decades will start to slowly heal and disappear. (Used to have a scar in one of my eyes that I got as a 3yo child that completely healed 25 years after)

Your body will just work on a complete different level of performance and will do things that most normies and medical doctors will claim are simply impossible.

The only disadvantage is the social aspect, that most people are too stupid to understand it and will think you're insane and killing yourself.
It's a deep rabbithole most people are too low IQ to understand.

on this topic, for bulking and cutting you actually need to commit. half assing your meals, not keeping track of calories and not working out with dilligence will mean that you'll get fatter without enough muscle to justify it and then have to lose that weight just to get back to where you started.

bulking is not just eating a lot of bullshit and then lifting. even if it might work for some people to go at it intuitively, it usually takes planning to work

Yeah I've complained about this before.
Bulking is a meme that the fitness industry promotes to keep you spinning your wheels and delaying your progress forever.
By getting you fat they suppress your testosterone levels which makes it harder to gain muscle and hit your fitness goals earlier.
The longer it takes you to get to your goal body, the more time they can sell you gyms subscriptions, supplement pills & powders, get you to watch fitness content, etc.

Same reason they promote slight caloric deficit diets to lose weight, instead of just fasting. Whatever body fat you need to get rid of, fasting will get you there 10x faster.

Most of the health/wellness/fitness advice is for kind of dumb impulsive people with 0-9 months of experience because that's where the market is for making money unless you want to coach youth sports. Most of the information is watered down for slightly below average people who don't really want to learn or practice anything and have very little time to train.

Yeah naturals have no idea the strength of bulking. I look huge from just one year of lifting because I bulked from 165 to 189 and will cut back to 165 then rebulk and then cut a little higher next time and so on and so on, on a slow cut or bulk forever

That's not how it works. "Short" is not absolute, it's a bell curve. There will always be short men because height follows a normal distribution. Even if everyone magically gained 2 feet tomorrow there will still be some shorter than others.

Besides short women are the reason short men exist. And nothing is stopping short women from reproducing. It's a cursed life. >>77233554 is right, women absolutely detest below average men. We're not even human to them.
