Should I just kms?
I have T, 1, 1.5, and 2

T is easy peasy
1 I can barely do 5 proper reps (fully closed)
1.5 cannot even fully close
>>
I'm only gripping my own CoC thank you.
Using lbs over kg is annoying enough but now you replace that with a letter and numbers?

Are you setting your grippers with your off hand or closing them from the fully open position?
>>
>>77233685
Fully open, why?
>>
>>77233733
Closing one handed from fully open is the hardest way and considered a feat of strength of it's own. To certify on the ironmind challenges the gripper handles have to start a credit card width apart which is easier than no set but still very tough. It's common to start with the handles set to parallel or slightly wider before attempting a credit card or no set close. You've been working at the hardest difficulty so you shouldn't feel bad. Try the 1.5 from parallel and I'm sure you'll get it.

You could've just bought a single adjustable gripper.

Gripper progression is annoying. I've got some offbrands from 20 years ago that go up in 50lb steps, and basically, that's an insurmountable jump. The 150 is easy, the 200 is super hard, and the 250 I might as well throw away. I'll use them for a while, get frustrated, and stop. This was the minimum jump between levels they sold.

>>77233766
How are the progressions on that model?
>>
>>77233766
Nice weird dart board collection, pervert. That explains why you bought those grippers you creep.

working towards CoC #3...I think I need the 2.5. the jump from 2 to 3 is insane

>the jump from 2 to 3 is insane
Even the jump from 2.5 to 3 is large.

>Im so fucking weak I cannot even close a CoC 1.5
Hint: Grab the thing lower on the grips/tongs whatever the silver things are called in fitness vocabulary. SImple physics, you'll have a bit better leverage and it makes all the difference. I thus managed to close the equivalent of a COC #3 according to the Redneck Grip Calibrator (according to the comparison of hand dynamometers and COC performance on social media, the actual resistance on grippers is often roughly about half of what's advertised, just like the Redneck Grip Calibrator claims).

Really?

It's not about being weak it's about: does this weight give me the required stimulus to grow. U need to think opposite. Is this enough weight to do 5 to 10 really hard reps and if I'm not going to failure within ten reps it's time to up the weight. Numbers are for fat fuck powerlifters if u want muscle let the weight serve you. Ur lucky because that means u will get a stimulus from that for a long time yet also if ur natty BULK it's the closest thing to roids for Natty's but u need to bulk s l.o w l y

You don't say shit when Jamal pisses in your food at the factory, but you draw the line at buying an adjustable hand gripper from Korea? Are you retarded?
>>
>>77236355
What?
>>

Don't compare the resistance values between difference grippers, companies measure this differently, so it can differ a lot between different grippers. You need to find rgc ratings for grippers that you want to compare.
And even if two grippers have the same rgc, closing them can still feel different, because of the differences in handles.
For example the gd iron grip 90 that other anon shared in the picture has similar rating as CoC 3 at level 5 (170). However because gd iron grip handles are narrower than CoC grippers, the gd gripper will feel considerably easier to close.
And you absolutely need 2.5, if you want to progress to 3, like you mentioned the jump from 2 to 3 is massive. Even between 2.5 and 3 there is a considerable difference, which is why people will often buy grippers from other companies, that have their rgc ratings somewhere between 2.5 to 3 to train more effectively.

The grips aren't narrower you actual shill bot just compare
>>77233622
>>77233766
Their actual dimensions are 20.5 mm (GD iron) vs 19 mm for CoCjew so it's the opposite.

Sounds like you're jealous that GD Iron is much harder than CoCkjew shit at the "same" weight.
Because CoCjews measure at the bottom of the handle while GD Iron measures the center of the handles.
And coping that the RGC ratings are false because "muh handles" is a new low.

I expressed myself poorly, you are right its not that the handles are narrower, its rather that the closing distance on gd iron grip is slightly narrower, because of the way the gripper is designed and that black metal part just below the spring. Which is why some people who have this gripper, file it off, to get more distance out of it.
I don't mean that gd iron grip is a bad gripper, I have it and think its great, but since I own both gd iron grip and CoC #3 I can without a doubt say that gd at level 5 is easier than CoC 3, despite having the same rgc rating, so my point stands.
Still I think if someone is just getting into grip training, its better to start with gd iron grip and not CoC grippers. It costs about as much as 3 CoC grippers, but is of great quality and you get 6 different resistance levels or even 12 if you also use extensions.
