Obviously I cannot control how everyone perceives me and people in my gym (especially roiders) were exceptionally nice. I've asked them several times if they could spot me on 2 plates bench and not only would they put the effort to put on a smile to not look intimidating (which I don't care all that much about but personally I cannot perform for shit for people who would find my resting bitch face scary) but they would also give me advice on how to better my lifts, breathwork etc. Just really sweet people.

That guy is barely taller than me, was smiling all day talking to his gym buddies, he looked like he's put more time talking to people than lifting. Guess that's just how some people are.

Last week I was traveling and so I used the hotel gym. It was a tragedy overall with the only freeweights being dumbbells and many were missing, not even a smith machine, and the cable machine maxed out at 70lbs. There were a lot of cardio machines though. While I was doing the best adaptation of my program I could, there was a guy who was loudly moaning while doing a stair stepper machine programmed on some kind of HIIT setting. When he finished, he pulled out a scale from a bag he had brought and stripped down to his underwear to weigh himself.

Unless you started taking creatine or gear, most of that was fat. 2lbs of muscle per month is the absolute maximum you can expect to get, and 1lb is a more realistic number. You probably gained some muscle, but you also got fatter.

So i joined a new gym this february and everyone who was friendly secretly turned against me

For example there was this dude who was miring me overhead pressing 60kg x 10 reps and he said his goal this summer is to pass me (he can't even do 1 rep at 60kg). From being friendly and happy he turned hostile in a month.

The gym owner who is a tatted up 47 year old guy, he turned from friendly to not even greeting me.

I have a huge beard and good hair genetics at 33 and i get some mires here and there but mostly i mind my own business besides doing some small talk of course. Also at workspace and stuff i'm likeable and get promotions without being giga-sucessful but i'm easy going with most people. Why are gym bros so hostile?

If you're a beginner you probably have a lot of fat your body can burn for energy. Track your calories and shift to more protein while staying at whatever overall calorie amount is needed to stay a constant weight. That way as long az you're working out you'll gain muscle and lose fat. If you aren't a beginner, its not happening. You'll need to gain muscle and fat together and later try and lose the fat while preserving the muscle.
