Reading this book will make you realize how much of a pussy you really are, and how strong and tough our ancestors really were despite never having lifted weights in their entire lives.
>>77235145A huge part of this phenomenon is that they didn't have to go to school with girls and browns during their formative years. They spent their youths around other white male peers and developed a strong work ethic, competitiveness, and baseline physical fitness that are destroyed by modern schooling.
>>77235170Imagine thinking strong work ethic and competitiveness are positive traits. The little hats really did a job on the mind of some people.
>>77235145boomers fucking larp about everything
>>77235145And those men compared to romans were as children. It's called degeneration and it's been going on since Adam. Our ancestors didn't need to work out to be strong. We do. Accept your place in this chain of weakness stretching out into the future
>>77235145>>77235170No it's because this world is gay and pussified. Everything has already been discovered and there are too many rules everywhere.Granted the people who went on Antarctic voyages weren't ordinary people. They were the equivalent of astronauts today. The average person back then was pretty much the same as an average person today just slaving away doing nothing.
>>77235223No roman has ever managed a feat as impressive as the story of Endurance lol its almost incomprehensible how Shackleton pulled it off and even more incomprehensible how nobody died
>>77235229Lol
>reads some bullshit>feels all inspired
>>77235229Lmao
>>77235227>No it's because this world is gay and pussifiedYeah, a large part of that is integrated schools.
>>77235182>Yes goy, just be weak, insifgnificant and depressed!
>>77235275>If you don't compete and don't make labor the focus of your life you'll actually be weak, insignificant, depressed, and smelly... Competing with your own people is the reason why even Indians can easily outperform white americans, isn't it?
>>77235275>strong work ethic>not being weak, insifgnificant and depressedKek
>>77235231>>77235245Where is your rebuttal, kid?
>>77235282>>77235287Work ethic ≠ rat race and slavery, imbecile.
>>77235293You may thing that work ethics is the same as discipline, but no, it's discipline applied to work or a career alone. Discipline is a great thing, many cultures value it, work ethics is a disgusting abomination found in Germanic cultures.
>>77235275The qualities you've both mentioned arent opposable. To have "work ethic" you need to be stoic aka have slave morality, admit you're insignificant, weak, and contain your depression
It’s honestly an insane story. Even my wife read the book in all of two days. Couldn’t stop.
The 2001 docu was breddy gud as well
>died of a heart attack at age 47I guess he needed more endurance
Maybe I'm kinda stupid but I read that book and I don't understand how they survived. How can 30 men live on ice in Antarctica for 3 years and not one of them die? Even if all of them were this ultra survival expert geniuses what are the odds that all of them would survive? The whole story seems sketchy.
>>77235145>read byYou didn't lift the weight.
>>77236886There's a gap between the average human and hand picked and trained specialists, it's like with modern astronauts.
