Does it actually do anything
At worst it moves a little more water into your muscles to make them bigger. At best it provides slightly more energy reserves so you can train that much harder.
>>77239305It makes you pee more.
>gives you about one more rep before failure, which is more time under tension and thus (slightly) more gains>your muscles store more water, which may slightly enhance recovery>this also makes your muscles look slightly larger, but with worse definition, so you look better with a shirt on but worse with it off>also makes you thirsty, which is good because you'll be better hydrated, but you will pee more.If you took creatine for a year you'd probably get like 5% more gains, which is great value considering how cheap it is and the lack of downsides.
alleviates my depression lol
i stopped using it years ago, so ima go with "no".
>>77239305Increase stats by 5% not a lot. But that damn 5% may be the key for getting fit
>>77239305Yes. But if you just take it plus protein powder and a multivitamin, you've got major supplementation skill issues.
I’m an old /fit/izen (been here since 2010) and never took creatine. I figured I may try it since it was on sale and damn, all my lifts have gone way up. I’m probably at my strongest right now. It is very cheap too. Just get one tub and try it out yourself.
>>77239305>1-5% improvement in the gym (while actively taking it)>makes you look like a bloated fat retard>does not carry over improvement after taking it
I've been taking it for a while, and while I don't have any numbers to back it up it does feel like it's been helping with bulking and gains.I should probably try cutting and fasting to see if it's all water weight or body fat, but that's for another time.
Helps preserve LBM in a deficit very well. Along with HMB.
>>77239305Causes balding LMAO
>>77239305It apparently adds 2 lbs of lean muscle... After ONE FUCKING YEAR.I guess if you're min-max with your body I guess take it but over a hundred dollars of taking something and drinking a gallon of water a day just for 2 lbs is not worth it to me
>>77239573i don't know how accurate what you're claiming is, but if it's true, that's actually pretty good. an untrained natty is putting on ~10 lbs of muscle (not just LBM, actual contractile tissue) in a year. if it gives you +2 lbs that's a 20% increase, nothing to scoff at at all
