Some months ago we had a skincare schizo thread. This is my 3 months progression on retinol+bakuchiol+antiaging ingredients sunscreen+mens soap. Ive lost some dynamic wrinkles around my eyes and some shitty marks on my skin from tampering with my pimples too.To the schizos in that thread: my deepest thank you
you look the exact same, just oily. let me guess, you now think you look 17 at 40 and get ID'd at every turning corner
>>77240052Shooo shooo, crab
>>77240050There no positive difference. You made your skin more leathery.
>>77240050Just use tretinoin and sunscreen.
>>77240056What is leathery about my face, exactly? My skin is softer to the touch and more elastic. The oily look is that i just woke up and i havent washed my face yet (night cream still on).
>>77240065It looks significantly improved to me. Was it the (((48F))) tretinoin thread? It made me buy tazarotene.
>>77240050before vs before (but greasy)
>>77240076Kek she became more wrinkly just to remove some freckles
>>77240078She became less wrinkly, wtf are you talking about
>>77240076Yeah, it was the thread with your picrel. I didnt have much faith in the skincare bs, but i did a bit of research and holy shit, it works. Ive shown the progression pic to female friends and relatives and they are jelly as fuck. 12 yo closeted homo crabs will say theres is no change, but i dont give a fuck. The neonazi schizo spergs on /fit/ were right all along. Godspeed, brother.
>>77240092Her forehead lines became even more visible. Sorry you got scammed.
>>77240052I don't know about OP, but my /fit/ routine is 17 sets of 17 reps of 17 minutes of skipping around outside.
>>77240141Interesting in lower left you can see this teenager dyed the hair above his ears grey, presumably to look older when buying booze (very strictly regulated in Brazil) or maybe even a movie role where he has to play an old man.
Don't mind the trolls. Amazing progress for only 3 months on. Continue with the sunscreen, it do wonders. Also good sleep is a game changer
>retinol when you can just eat foodKwab
>>77240050My pores look so gigantic. I use toner, retinol, and a moisturizer after, but I seem to look worse as each day passes. I was using a red light.. I need to start that again. I think I just smashed through the wall at age 37 though so im kinda fucked. Im just ugly with thinning hair because stress destroyed my youthful vigor. Life is so much worse when youre hideous
>>77240465Tretinoin shrinks pores...get it from entire duration of the day pharmacy
Cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen.
>>77240050Just get some sun but not too much. Men do not need a skincare routine
>>77240050Is that a fucking piercing on your eyebrow, you goddamn ass-muncher?
>>77240556>Anti aging/bioshartranny is indeed a pederat trannyShocking
>>77240078You are blind and/or retarded.
>>77240065you're chemically shaving the top protective layer of your skinit looks new and shiny but it is now also thinner and fragile to everythingand if you don't cover it with something else it will make it worse over timekorean men and women are expert in these treatments,a lot of them use them every day and at some point their face will look like wrinkled shiny plastic bagsthey end up injecting botox to unwrinkle it and that's how they get the bogdanoff lookfor the wrinkles it's better to just get some collagen supplement to make it more elastic but firmonly by stretching the skin the wrinkles will disappear, you can't just erase themif yoou have a skin discolouration or acne pits, these treatments can be useful
>>77240050Lmao the "just have kids then shrivel up & die" crowd on sewer-slide watch from seeing how cheap and easy anti-walling tech has gotten.>protip: yes, there are also systemic treatments that work fairly well in enough combination and aren't scams.
>>77240050bro I have oily skin and trying to change that because it fuels my acne and you're actively trying to grease your skin ?
>>77240697
>>77240098>didnt have much faith in the skincare bs, but i did a bit of research and holy shit, it worksThis was my experience as well with the basics (SA cleanser, toner, vitC, retinol, moisturizer), but here's the thing the people don't want to hear: it doesn't make you look ten or even 5 years younger. It make your skin look healthier. That's it. I think its worth it, but alot of people /here/ go all Hernando de Soto trying to fight time. You don't beat time, just negotiate.
>>77240735>>77240697Post body
>>77240772>the basics (SA cleanser, toner, vitC, retinol, moisturizer)>doesn't make you look ten or even 5 years younger. If you upgrade by adding several additional evidence-based ingredients, you can definitely hit that though.>t. around the same age picrel guesses, except the same clanker thinks I'm much younger
>>77241035Post body
>>77240065why do retardniggers post before after pics in completely different conditions
>>77240658>you're chemically shaving the top protective layer of your skinPlease explain what he's doing that has this effect.>for the wrinkles it's better to just get some collagen supplement to make it more elastic but firmRetinoids increase collagen synthesis
>>77240065>The oily look is that i just woke up and i havent washed my face yet (night cream still on). You're lying but ok
>>77240050some generic $2 moisturizer will give you the same effect. there is no difference otherwise.
>>77240052Brown
>>77242110Nice to meet you
>>77240050At 3 months of retinol use, you can start slowly incorporating big boy retinoids like tret or taz at low concentrations. Biggest skincare gains don't show themselves until you're well into it for 6-12 months. Consider vit C and moisturizing. Bakuchiol is relatively understudied and seems to overlap with retinoids, it's hard to say if it really synergises with them or if it's just placebo, but no harm in trying.>schizoIt's pretty run of the mill skincare, retinoids + sunscreen is the gold standard, everything else is just supplementary.>>77240076I remember that thread, i was the taz guy.>>77240462Your blood can only metabolize and supply so much retinol to your skin without suffering from toxicity, which is why the physiological concentrations are only as high as they are, even though ideally for the skin they'd be higher. The body is a very comprehensive system where everything is interconnected and nothing exists in a vacuum, the body can't just magically spawn retinol where it needs to be, some things that would be benefical just aren't possible because they'd interfere with something else, it's all a series of compromises. Topical treatments are so good precisely because you can bypass this and reach high, localized concentrations without having to deal with them going systemic.
>>77242236>ToxicityNever been observed outside of animals with a risk of heavy metals toxicityEverything else you said is made up and backed by nothing>Durr u kan havz a lot from a jewish cream without toxicity but food kilsl youKek !
>>77242236>schizo>It's pretty run of the mill skincare, retinoids + sunscreen is the gold standard, everything else is just supplementary. The real schizo-tier skin shit is photodynamic therapy; that's the emerging "platinum standard" sometimes even literally in oncology applications.
>>77240050I really don't understand people who don't "believe" in skincare routine. You can clearly see everyone who does it ages very gracefully and some even get rid of wrinkles. Its like thinking exercising doesn't make you healthier.
>>77242352>Never been observedA hypothetical scenario where the blood is physiologically carrying toxic levels of retinol has never been observed? Big if true. Has your reading comprehension ever been observed?>Everything else you said is made up and backed by nothingShouldn't have slept through highschool bio I guess.>>Durr u kan havz a lot from a jewish cream without toxicity but food kilsl youI see, you're just arguing with imaginary strawmen you created for yourself. Keep winning, Anon.>>77242389It's not really schizo either, cosmetic PDT treatments have been a thing for a while, it's just prohibitively expensive and not something you'd recommend to DIY at home to laymen.
>>77242614>just prohibitively expensive and not something you'd recommend to DIY at home to laymen.I DIY it at-home very cheaply with methylene blue plus zinc oxide photosensitizers (for prophylactic anti-aging photofacials, among others), so I think that qualifies as more schizo-tier, kek.
>>77240052His skin looks healthier
>>77242819No, your skin looks worse
