Is it possible to build a chest with home equipment?
>>
Dumbell press and fly, dips.

Dip bars are hardly home equipment but they are great OP.
Watch out for injuries tho. It's very easy to fuck up dips
>>
>>77240265
Power towers are something i will consider when i have more room. Used to do dips off of random shit, but my form was probably garbage.
>>
>>77240295
And how would a power tower help you get in shape? You can definitely find dip bars at an affordable price. After all, if your original choice was a power tower, it means your level is such that you don't want to overload too much.

Your chest is TWO muscles, a very small one (muh incline muscle, in reality you're just relegating more work to the shoulders) and a big one with a few heads that work in UNISON. You need exactly 1 exercise with 1 accessory for chest. The chinlet and similar scammers make it seem like you have upwards of 4 muscles in that area because they cant otherwise make 4 videos about bench press or pushups or pec flies every single week.

Post body *hehe*

>>77240332
Sorry, did I offend you in any way?
>>
>>77240256
I’ve had decent success with DB floor press using adjustable dumbbells. Some guy memed me into adding decline weighted pushups which I did because they’re fun. Granted I started as a literal Diablo 2 skeleton
>>
>>77240335
So a power tower is bad because it includes the dip bars you recommended? Chat is anon trolling me *giggles*
>>
>>77240353
I just said that there might be cheaper options than a power tower (often very wobbly, not suitable for muscle-ups or straight bar dips) if your goal is just dips.
>>
>>77240364
Your new argument is fine. It’s just not the one you originally made.
>>

>You need exactly 1 exercise with 1 accessory for chest.
the issue is finding that one main exercise to do it at home. I dont have a bench to press nor a machine

i'll just spam pushups
>>
>>77240256
push ups are all you need
>>
>>77240471
You can prop your feet up on a short stool or chair to increase the angle and add an incline which will hit more of your upper chest.
>>
chest muscles are totally useless, it's just additional strain on your heart for no benefit besides being able to bench press. and having a bulging chest like schwarzenegger is grotesque
>>
>>77240479
I don't think a person working at home has any expectations to look like Arnold.
If you're not lean and don't have any chest, you unironically can look slightly fat even if you aren't.

My advice OP is pushups, volume and variations. Db presses on the floor (or if you have a hard bed with feet on the floor) is also not awful but I'm speculating you dont have that much weight to press with DB at home.
>>
Flat db bench
Incline db bench
Dips
Flies

That's it

Is it possible for athlean-x to run out of video ideas. Kek the answer is of course not, he can just make one he's already made 50 times before with a slightly different take
>>
>>77240256
Yeah just not a very big one
>>
>>77240265
pullup bar with rings converts it in a very effective dip station for home/apartment
>>
>>77240256
If ur home gym includes dumbells and a power rack, maybe. But calisthenics will NEVER produce a sizeable chest.

Litteraly no body builder or athlete had a popping chest until the bench press was invented really. Im not kidding
>>
>>77240471
Incline pushups blew my chest the fuck up. You can make it harder and reduce rep spam by putting a bunch of weight in a backpack and wearing that during the exercise.
>>
Incline bench press
Pec flies (machine)
Why do any other gay shit
>>
>>77240256
It doesnt matter because you'll never put in the work. If you really wanted it, you'd already be lifting and not worried about some arbitrary timeline.
If someone does tell you a timeframe you find acceptable, you'll go the gym then quit in a few months when you see no progress and then go back to making "how to achieve" threads with a pic of Gooky the anime character waiting for someone to "redpill" you on how to get jacked without doing anything. loser

Chest is about shoulder posture more than anything else. You need to train your lower trapezoid to pull your shoulders back if you want a big chest.
>>
>>77242901
This retard is genuinely clueless about anatomy i seriously hope he gets involved in some massive scandal that rapes his entire net worth for being such a scammer
>>
>>77242910
If you mean athlean-x then sure whatever, but the lower traps are still the key to a good looking chest.
>>
>>77242901
When I straighten my back and shoulders my chests and abs look worse, I look best slightly slouched forward.
>>
>>77242955
You are probably doing it wrong, puffing out your chest and stuff. You are not supposed to flare out your ribcage.
>>
>>77240256
Yeah, it called dips.
In fact, not just for homefags, dips are what pulls up are for lats. You can go better than that.
>>
>>77240327
>You need exactly 1 exercise with 1 accessory for chest
And those are...?
>>
>>77243176
Incline bench and pullovers
>>
>>77241355
while I agree on the principle, I discovered that adding weights like this just stresses my lower back without increasing the strain on the target muscles in the incline pushup, maybe there's a better way instead of a backpack but I haven't figured it out yet
>>
>>77243176
>>77243312
Or flat bench and cable flies
