Seal rows are the goatest back exercise known to mankind and it's criminal how most gyms don't have the proper equipment to do themSeriously, my back hasn't felt this good in fucking decades
Nah they suck
>>77243856Yes, I think it's a quality movement, but the machine for it is quite large, and gyms have limited space. I don't think it's necessarily worth it over just having a seated row machine which is more normie friendly, from a commercial gym perspective.
>>77243856Are these functionally the same as inverted rows?
>>77243861>the machine for it is quite large, bruh you just need a bench that isnt for manlets
>>77243863very similar, but the bench means it broadly removes the core component of the inverted row, and there are some angle discrepancies as well
>>77243880Just stack enough of these under the bench until you have clearance
>>77243860yur mum sucks
>>77243892My momma has better range of motion atleast
We have it in my gym, I like it but it has some issues. Takes a long time to actually setup into the correct position. Its also probably one of the worst machines in my experience for breathing, head gets extremely hot too. Feels good, but I'm just not arsed putting myself through it on a weekly basis.
>>77243856Kinda crappy exercise from the 50's before machines were invented
>>77243856If you have a pec gap then this exercise will make it bigger by pushing your pecs away from each other.
>>77244182If you're strong and use serious weight then it also applies an an unnaturally excessive amount of force on your ribcage. I only see dyels do it though.
>>77243863>>77243885My gym got a seal row recently and I was very excited to try it and it kinda feels like shit and I have no idea why. I do weighted inverted rows and they feel so much better for some reason. Maybe it's cause you're moving your body through space? I can't put my finger on it.
>bench press but upside downTruly a genius came up with this
>>77244105>Takes a long time to actually setup into the correct position. Its also probably one of the worst machines in my experience for breathing, head gets extremely hot too.Don't forget that I'll also hop up and sit it on when no one's using it, my ass is where your face will be and I fart repeatedly. Then I stand and smirk when you get on and press your face into my fart residue (and no, there are no jeets at my gym who would be thankful for getting a whiff of their home country)
>>77243856they are good but the goatest back exercise is either woolam row or kroc row or gut supported row. basically things that work upper back extensors.
