Start with wall pushups and increase the incline progressively. When you reach 30 on one "setting" either move your feet further or seek a lower position than before. At the beginning, it'll be positioning your feet further to generate an incline but once that method gets ridiculous you graduate to using other surfaces as basis for the exercise. From my own experience as a faaat fuck that went from none to sets of 20, when you get to 10 pushups on a surface raised to around knee level is when you CAN do a proper singular regular pushup.

Before you actually try to do a real push up make sure you can hold the plank pose for a least 10 seconds.

Try doing one with your knees touching the floor as support, then you are pushing less weight and you can work yourself up to real ones like that.

If you are really fat it makes sense that you are struggeling because you are pushing a lot more weight without the added muscles that weight increase should follow.

If it is even impossible to do on your knees then you need to seriously focus on losing weight and building basic everyday muscles. Walking, light carrying and lifting, etc.

But push-ups kind of suck anyways like all body weight exercises. Bench press is better.
