>family bought a new dishwasher
>they picked a shitty one with a plastic tub/grates
>during the initial heavy sanitation cycle to clean the dishwasher before use, they left a plastic bag with some detergent/rinse aid sample packs in it that you were obviously supposed to take out of the fucking dishwasher before turning it on, so there was a plastic bag in the dishwasher for 3 hours at 150F
>they bought some old Cascade Completeā„¢ pods for it, so more toxic shit, probably expired
>few days later, no obvious problems so far
>"maybe i'm just overreacting, and now we dont have to do dishes by hand. things are looking up :)"
>made some food yesterday, tasted something detergent-y when eating and tongue felt spicy, got lightheaded for the rest of the day and have felt off since
You literally cannot escape this xenoestrogen & chemical bullshit. probably cancerous too. and i can't do shit about it because they'll get really mad after paying the money to install it. I now understand why guys just do TRT. You have to at this point to not be turned into a fucking faggot by our modern environment filled with these endrocrine disruptors everywhere.

Good grief OP. My apartment came with a dishwasher and I refuse to use it too. Just don't trust it.

Like when those people say the lead pipes in Rome turned everyone mad. I don't think superheating an aluminium and plastic box with chemical surfactant is any good for me. I just use it for storage.

If I ever get my own place, I won't install a dishwasher. And if it has one, I will gut it out

i got an all metal one and use an eco polisher based on organic derivatives as well as soda-based pods without any smell, always on the hottest cycle. totally fine, no smell, no taste, nothing. i'm not wasting time washing dishes by hand, sorry

There really isn't anything you can do. Pipes are made of PVC now. Everything has some plastic lining or coating. Microplastics everywhere in all of our food. No escape.

Even the syringe to inject yourself with testosterone probably has microplastics or xenoestrogens in it. lol. Clown world.

You sound like a frail faggot

A cheap and easy to install reverse osmosis system can remove the microplastics from your drinking/cooking water. It won't process enough water to clear your bathing/washing water though.
>>
Excuse my ignorance, I know the heat-plastic thing of the dishwasher, but what issues has the dishwasher? Can you elaborate?
>>
I'm considering getting a second dishwasher so I'll have one on either side, and just rotate dishes.
>>
hand washing doesn't get things properly clean

Bait or retarded, choose one
