How did /fit/ fix their mouth breathing issues? I feel like my nose is useless 80% of the time. With both cavities usually blocked for most of the dayt. And it doesn't feel like it's congestion or snot either.

Get an evaluation from a doc to determine if you have a deviated septum or polyps or an abnormality or something like that. Then you will be able to determine whether nose breathing is a real possibility for you.

I used to have issues nose breathing. I got a sleep study done and found out I snored really bad. Docs suggested removal of my addenoids, tonsils and fix my horribly deviated septum.

I can now nose breathe while doing hard cardio and dont snore anymore.

it's a SYMPTOM
It can range from your posture to sinus issues or your diaphragm...
And your posture can be anything from flat feet to bad knees to pelvic tilt or all of them together + pathological causes all at once or it could be none of them and some kind of deviated septum issue
Tl;dr there's no fixing or forcing, that's called compensation, how people round up their back to compensate for a weak core etc get EVERYTHING checked from a professional who doesn't shy from telling you to come for a second evaluation or head to another specialist before coming back
There is no bullet method and if you find it that just means you gambled and lucked out from trying all the "bullet methods"

I improved my posture and did breathing exercises. I also do neck mobility training in the morning which noticably helps with nose breathing. You can literally feel the sinuses drain. There are also certain breathing techniques that clear your nasal airways at least temporarily. Mostly methods that involve holding your breathe after inhaling and/or exhaling like box breathing or Buteyko technique. And if you train diaphragmatic breathing it will become much easier and effortless to breathe through your nose. It has improved my snoring and sleep apnea a lot. It won't fix it, but you'll see big improvement after a few weeks already. Basically, just train to become better at breathing.

Yes. Like you could try a saline nose spray or whatever to clear your nose and use mouthtapr before bed but if your nose is structurally too deviated it's going to be only minimally helpful.

Yea fixed it completely.

- cut to 10% body fat
- get surgery to make nose straight
- use nasal salt water rinse
- force yourself to breathe through the nose until the body adapts

The orthodontist told me that my overbite was so big because I've been mouth breathing my whole childhood. That's another bad side effect of allergies
