Is it safe? The FDA claims it is if you follow their guidelines, but idk something seems fishy with it. Is it really safe or is it dangerous long term?
>>77246002Probably safe, but why would you give it away for free so that some piece-of-shit scumbag can sell it?
>>77246005you get paid for it
>>77246005>>77246005Well they give you money when you do it. But probably no where near as much as they make off of it. It's basically $50-$65 for your plasma.
>>77246008That's fair then. I thought that by donate, you meant that you don't get paid.
>>77246019No. No one would hardly do that.
>>77246002https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8053039/So I read this study a while ago which determined that people who regularly donate plasma have lower globulin and immunoglobulin, but no research was done if this had any adverse health effects in the trial patients. The other potential side effects are lower iron (just eat more meat lol) and vein scarring.
>>77246019you're donating your time and generosity to big pharma
>>77246024This are less side effects than eating fast food once.
>>77246024Plasma regenerates in 24 hours. As long as you don’t donate more than once every two weeks you’re fine.
>>77246002it's only as safe as the person taking it from youwill you really put your life in someones hands like that?
>>77246023Strangely, people donate plasma and blood more often in countries where it can't be sold.
>>77246037You get unlimited snacks and the girls who work there are cute.
>>77246040I'm lucky, here I get 2 paid off-work days every time I donate blood.
>>77246002I've heard it's one of the only ways to get rid of microplastics in your blood. Just gotta replace your protein afterwords.
>>77246752Maybe but It's literally filtering your blood throuh plastic.
