I hold the bar for about 5 seconds on the last rep of each deadlift set. I think I'm gonna add shrugs too. Would adding wrist curls, reverse wrist curls and/or plate pinches help?

I can close a #2 in each hand - just in the left, but good in the right

Do negatives, close them with both hands and hold it HARD with the one til it opens itself. It'll burn but it's goooooooooooood

I didn't find that regular/reverse wrist curls helped any. My grip is shot and progression on them didn't make it any better. It's good for wrist health however and that alone make them a good inclusion.

I've seen the sand/rice bucket work for a few people, never tried it but would consider it for a bit, it's only training - if you dont see results in 28 days stop doing it

What's your training like to get to 10 reps on the 2? Some number of closes per day? High volume work with less resistance?

Frequent closes with the 1.5 and 2
Mostly frequent closes with 1.5 ( each day lately )
I'm not sure if its good to do each day since i read that the strongest gripper closing people train them less frequently

Not a good idea to train grippers often as a lot of tendons/ligaments are involved and those take longer to recover due to low blood flow.
