what are your thoughts on hiking?will i find peace?
yea
>>77248479I've been looking at this https://www.tripadvisor.com/Articles-lg2dalHshwD8-10_nature_escapes_a_train_ride_from_new_york_city.html and i think i didn't fully enjoy my hiking experiences because i went with other people, i don't wanna hear anyone's yaps
There is no activity that brings me more joy than hiking. If you have a camera and and a book, its all you need. Make it a goal to not use your phone at all. Maybe take a knife to whittle sticks too, and some food to eat. I like to stay at the top for some time, just chilling.Hiking is so great for you because it gives you a new backdrop. Being able to nap in the sun is amazing too.
Peace increases with time and distance to civilization. If you're still anxious after 2h you just need to walk further. If you are seriously stressed you might have to walk for days but peace will come.
>>77248474Retarded and pointless. If you like nature just drive to a camping spot and relax with a book near a lake. Walking there is some white woman shit.
>>77248642>distance to civilizationNo no,. it's distance from dangerous minorities. Any activity that requires even a little planning, money and discomfort will help you avoid minorities.
>>77248690Fr. Low test behaviour. Wahh I need to walk in a flowery meadow for my heccin mental health. Shut up nigga.
>>77248702>dangerous minoritiesDespite what people say about whites i don't find them to be all that dangerous
>>77248474Yes. >>77248759Flowers?
>>77248474Two weeks ago I found out that my childhood trail got transformed into a gravel road, where fat people can drive their Mercedes all the way to the top of the mountain, leaving me to eat their dust for three hours of hiking.I hate society.
>>77248702The other anon is right, if you went for a good hike you'd know better than this mutt slop.
>>77248474we are full.
I whittle out in nature. Very relaxing.
>>77248690>just drive to a camping spotretard
>>77248938Nta but one if my best summers i used like 1k to car camp across colorado and had an amazing time hiking 13ers and 14ers. What is the most difficult hike/climb you have done.
>>77248474> will i find peace?Yes.The whispers between the trees and it's branches systematically recite the eternal oath of reminding us of our gods to remind the sons of the gods where we came from.Shut down the brainwash installed by the liars of abraham, return to where you came from and free yourself from the mental shackles that binds you into passivity.Allow them to fulfill their oath and reflect on things, theres no need to bottle yourself up if you are free and not a slave of pacifist foreign theology and framework of slaves.Just become one with it, in the moment.
>>77248932Post forest gnomes
>>77248474Consider bears and ticks
>>77248963
>>77248642In my experience insecure whitoid macho men are the most dangerous to be around. Especially on the road with their gender affirming pickup truggs
>>77249135Have you ever been in an all black inner-city neighborhood, and if so which one?
I found a dead homeless guy once.
>>77249135Actually yes insecure young men of any race are the most dangerous they live in a fantasy land in their head
>>77249298they are dangerous in the way any wild animal is
>>77248690any spot accessible by car inherently sucks.
>>77248474it's good but you have to come back to societythat means you need to find peace in everyday life, not run into the woods for escapism
>>77249404Theyre more scared of me than i am of them?
I think its really fucking stupid and gay. Bro you are just walking around in the woods. Just call it walking. Pussy shit
>>77248474stupid. as a kid it was alright but as an adult it seems stupid. you just start walking into the woods and then a short time later turn around walk out and leave
How do you all approach hiking? Moved to the PNW and have spent the past year enjoying the many young mountains. I've found the most enjoyment when it's a strenuous hike with rapid elevation, followed by the payoff of a good view. I've done the same hikes again, but I think a fair bit of my enjoyment comes from finishing a strenuous hike with a view I haven't seen before. What's the endgame? Should I start tracking and aiming for faster times? Keep doing higher elevation? Longer distances?
>>77249578what do you mean endgame? the endgame is exploring young fertile peaks not hiking up the same mountain every week unless you just really like it or are autistic like alex honnold climbing el capitan 1000 times
>>77248474In my experience no but it's the closest I've gotten
>>77249615I respect that but I'm not really into the exploring/frontiersmanship aspect of it without a sense of physical progression. It is an enjoyable form of cardio, and I want to get better at it. I'm asking in what ways people choose to get better at hiking.
>>77249578Longer distances, higher heights, longer and steeper incline, scrambling. Getti g above timberline. For me it's not just about fitness, but about solitude. And i like lookin at purty stuff. My girl is dragging me to disney world. I just wanna stare at a "crick".I miss the mountains. I hate this place, bros.
>>77249635?you go on harder mountains dude wtf are you even talking about kys
>>77249668You're a dick.
>>77249670that's just how you progress dude if your content with your little mole hill thats fine too
>>77248498What kind of camera do you have. Are good cameras affordable?
