spot fat reduction is not a myth
that's my theory

with more muscle, more energy is spent at rest. and what energy does the muscle spend? from the fat tissue that is closest. get it?

weightlifting, starting from untrained skinny man, causes fat to accumulate near muscles, not just belly, whereas if there were weight gain without weightlifting most fat would go to the belly. this is documented. this is evidence of muscles using fat that is near

i am going to believe you because life is more fun that way

yeah i noticed my lower back got much more aesthetic when i ditched suitcase carry type unilateral motions
if you're not on roids and zero fat % influlencer or something there's certainly argument for "strategical" muscle development, like u want your glute fat on glute max not glute medius
ultimately it's not only the muscle that's making your silhouette, but also fat (which is essential for healthy hormonal profile) and where you carry that fat is determined partly by muscle development

> so how u grow glute max without overgrowing medius
glad you asked
ditch ALL the gym motions that even mention glute usage - it's all medius and leads to atrophy of max via acquired habitual external hip rotation
walk in pace with upright posture weekly but not longer than 40 minutes at a time, twice a week say 20 minutes, it's gotta be on flat on actual ground - no treadmill
this does glute max as well as gastrocnemius and abs:

>>>put on rubber sole shoes, LIE ON YOUR BACK & pull yourself on the floor sliding on your back - the glute you actually want, glute and calves (gastrocnemius) :D do not splay knees apart
>>>> it's not going, the pulling
>>>it's enough that u try, seriously, do not arch lower back, keep it on the floor
>>>there's one caveat to the above - u will grow obscene abs as well, is dat ok with you ?
>>>77247353
>>do not arch lower back, KEEP LOWER BACK ON THE FLOOR
>>lie on your back ok? and then lumbar spine glued to the floor and arms overhead - then it's glute max and gastrocnemius and abs

yeah, expect MAD gastrocnemius gains - i still feel em and i didn't do that much of it 3 days ago and like i said i walk weekly usually an hour at a time - too much i know, that's the loop i do, i gotta change it

>from the fat tissue that is closest
why?

>>77251231
Because anon has zero knowledge of physiological processes
>>
>>77251231
It just makes sense logistically that fuel that is closest is the one used, just like you don't fill your car's tank 200 km away from where you are.
>>
>>77250965
>MAD gastrocnemius gains
>from walking
el em ao

That's not how it works. It's not found "on the spot", idiot, but used from your bloodstream. After fatty acids (in adipocytes) were transported from those fat cells (by binding to serum albumin protein), they have to be used as an energy by tissue (muscles) and then what's left is carbon monoxide, exhaled by your lungs.
Go read a book
