i decided to stop being a stupid gaywad who is too self concious to go to the gym. i really hate my body so i hate moving in any way, thus i dont do excercise, but then even if im not obese i still dont look the right way. this is a cycle where i dont do anything to improve so i decided to ignore my horrible self disgust and signed up for a gym. it was my first day yesterday and my trainers were very nice and i feel like i got a way better workout than anything i can do at home.
Good luck. Just keep in mind that everyone at the gym is busy doing their own thing and don't care about any fatty. Also they all respect anyone moving forward and progressing. No matter what his starting pont is. You need help, just ask for it. Most people will be happy to help and share their knowledge with you.

Like if you dont rerack your weights/take up a machine just to scroll on your phone/dont respect personal space eventually someone will call you out on it. 90% of people at the gym are just there to do their workout and go home, but there definitely are dickheads every now and then. Just learn BASIC gym etiquette, dont needlessly bother people and you'll be fine.
