I started doing 10 pushups every time I go to the bathroom. It's something light. I'm doing counter pushups since scooby recommended one start there.

However, my elbow feels a little "pop" on the right side after a bit. What does one do about this? Stretch beforehand? What stretches? What is it?

Happens to me sometimes for many years. Mostly just annoying.

Is it painful or just like a knuckle cracking?
How's your form? Are you keeping your elbows tucked in?

It's not painful and not like a crack, either, it's like the tendon is doing something. It feels funny.

I have no idea how to keep my elbows tucked or what proper pushup form is

Keep your elbows by your sides.
Don't lock out your elbows when you go up.
