can overtraining cause flu-like symptoms? i have gotten sick 2 times in the past 2 weeks.

i think it's the opposite
i want to train but i keep getting sick. idk if it's a good idea to train through this sickness. i'm supposed to hit arms tonight but my head is throbbing and my skin feels like sandpaper

depends on the sickness. I hit a hard leg day with a sinus infection and it made it 2x as bad. The pressure in my eyes and sinuses made it feel like my eyeballs would pop out. Later in the shower I was blowing green and red snot out of my nose for hours. I actually had to go to the doctor for this infection. If you think you can manage it, go for it.
