Is it healthy to use energy drinks as a replacement for breakfast? I've been doing this for over 3 years because I have to wake up at 7 am to go to university and this early in the day, my stomach can't handle actual food. I don't feel hungry, but I feel kinda tired, but it could be my sleeping schedule.
Bump.
>>77251090caffeine is classified as psycho active drug. you are at this point and addict. its also stuffed with chemicals. you are hurting yourself. but you can do whatever the fuck you want to do.
>>77251090Are you drinking the white (healthy) ones, or the ones with sugar?
>>77251198Mostly the ones without sugar.
>>77251178one bar of dark chocolate has as much caffeine as an espressocacao is even richer in theobromine, which is an even more potent methylxanthine than caffeine by a factor of about 5>its also stuffed with chemicalstaurine is an amino acid that naturally occurs in the human body, and occurs in much higher quantities in certain common foods than is added to energy drinks. L-carnitine is a metabolic compound also naturally occurring in the human body, involved in the transport of lipids. literally does nothing to your body unless it chooses to use it, otherwise it just passes through the digestive system without doing anything.at this point you are addicted to being a fucking retard who has no idea what he's talking aboutenergy drinks are garbage, and clueless faggots like you are even worse garbage
>>77251241So, should i actually eat something or not?
>>77251090Energy drinks aren't healthy for anything. Just be normal and eat something. Have a can of deenz or something.
Bump
the healthy choice would be to stay in fasting state until you eat... so i would avoid even the non sugar energy drink and just have a coffee without sugar/milk
>>77251090Is your mouth dry when you wake up?If your waking up not feeling rested you may be reverting to mouth breathing in your sleep. Try taping your mouth while you sleep, otherwise it is probably caffeine withdrawal making you feel like shit in the AM
>>77251090I will say they aren't as bad as faggots like Eddie abbew say. I'm 43, never had a filling before and my teeth are still perfect, I'm very strong and healthy too, and I've been drinking at least 3 energy drinks a week my entire adult life pretty much. They'll only break your teeth if you're retarded and don't brush them. But I'd definitely save them till later in the afternoon at least just for the sake of keeping your energy up/not crashing too early.
>>77251090switch the energy drink for a coffee. For a lot less chemicals.
>>77251090If you're meeting your calorie needs, then it doesn't really matterPersonally though, caffeine on an empty stomach makes me feel like shit. I'm very much a lightweight and I get the jitters if I have too much
>>77251090>>77251527For me it's caffeine pills. Though I try to avoid taking more than 3 a week to avoid tolerance. Also, I used to be the same way with not being able to eat breakfast but eventually was able to get used to it by forcing myself to, and now I'm always hungry when I wake up. I don't think it's necessarily *bad* to not eat breakfast though, unless you need the energy from carbs.
>>77251090At the very least, consider something with more vitamates and nutrigens than Monster.
