Advice for new runners:
- Build up speed and mileage SLOOOOOWLY (start with 15 minutes, increase mileage at most 10% per week);
- It will feel like you're going slow, you are; don't worry about setting good times for a couple of months;
- If you start to feel pain anywhere, stop and rest;
- Don't try to copy what pros are doing. Do what feels natural; and
- Once you can comfortably roon 6 miles/10km, start thinking about a goal in terms of race distance and time, and look for a training plan for that goal (see below for suggested plans).

Did a faster one again
Saw no buns, but two herons in the river. Also saw the geese and goslings... there were only two goslings today. I guess the others... didn't make it. I also think I saw a mink in the river too.

Go to a doctor and get a stress test, to make sure you dont have a heart condition. I have atrial fibrillation and my heart rate was around 120-130 when I was walking at 2.5 mph on the treadmill, at the gym. Im on medication now, and my heartrate is more controlled. Not trying to scare you, but just giving my experience with a high heart rate.

Not feeling much progress, especially I am still deficient in the aerobic base.

Last year most km a month was 136 km, usually around 120km, spiked it up to 168 km in Jan and Feb, 212km in March, 200km in April.

Now I feel tired, cannot recover, my legs feel heavy even at any pace.
