Do multivitamins actually help or is it just a huge placebo market?
>>
>>77253823
Yes.
>>
>>77253823
I don’t know
>>
Ideally you take specific vitamins and minerals you know you actually need. For example, vitamin D if you're indoors a lot
>>
>>77253823
If you aren't getting enough vitamins from your diet then multivitamins can help. For most people they're essentially a placebo.
>>

Get beef liver capsules instead of a multivitamin and then magnesium on the side
>>
>>77253823
get blood work done and see what you're lacking and take that
>>
it's like the gluten thing, celiacs do exist and no gluten foods really helps them, but there is a huge swarth of the population that got swept in by the marketing and don't really need it
>>
>>77253823
Zinc, calcium, magnesium and d3 are the most important
>>

If you have a deficit, sure they work.
Common To have vitamin D deficiency where I live.
I have to take 5,000u a day during the winter.

>beef liver capsules
Can confirm they work and are a potent natural vitamin. My vision improved (Vitamin A retinol), hair and nails grow faster, skin is better. Bit expensive though, $30-40 for a months supply.

Sounds legit but I've been a fool whose parted with my money before. Your honesty is disarming.
>>
>>77253823
GPT says no, pretty much not.

>>77256877
Yes, me too, and I have never once noticed a difference from a single thing I've taken.
>>

It seems like my immune system is more robust when I take a multivitamin every day. But it's a preventative thing, not a "take it when you get sick" thing. Seems like it takes time for the nutrients to build up in your body.

But yeah I went the "probably just a placebo" idea and stopped taking them for a year or so, and then got sicker than I've been since I was a kid. So now I'm taking them again because it at least doesn't hurt. About 10 cents a day... not enough money to worry about.
>>
>>77253823
idk, i take one that tastes good for redundancy. i take it 2 times a day, spaced out.
>hypervitaminosis
no, i already checked that. i've been doing it for years with no side effect.
i can't 100% put a finger on the gains, but i do get better from flu and colds faster than others
>>
>>77256854
Hmm. I bought some of those Paleovalley Beef Organ Complex capsules I saw advertised on youtube. I took those regularly for a few months and noticed absolutely nothing.
>>
they won't hurt you and can help of you happen to deficient in something so why not
>>
>>77253840
Most people have a vitamin deficiency althoughbeit. One in 3 people are iron deficient.
