This is what you get for doing low intensity workouts.
When you do very high intensity, specially high intensity cardio, you might burn the same calories during the workout but you keep burning calories after the workout and even at night because your body is using your fat to recover quicker.
If you do high intensity lifting and high intensity cardio its basically impossible to get fat.

True, if you can master fasting you can create a bigger deficit quicker than you'd be able to undo it, plus fasting shrinks your guts. The first meal after breaking a fast always has to be small one for me, like child size, or else I get oogy before I get even halfway through.
