Is there such a thing as being genetically resistant to stretching? Cause ive been stretching for years and am still tight as shit. Pic related, my "splits". I also lift weights which obviously tightens my muscles and joints, and flexibility isnt my main goal its just something i do as a supplementary exercise to lifting, but for the hundreds of hours ive spent stetching over the years I'd expect a bit better results than this

No, you're just a retard and doing it wrong
What do you think it actually means to have tight muscles?

it means muskiels be injured, like say adductors from squatting with "perfectest posture" ass to grass
like traps and pecs from benching again with most optimal technique imaginable - these are bad fucking movements, real fucking bad

what if I fucked you in the ass instead? is that something you might be interested in?

Hi botschizo. Want to give me some tips on psoas stretches? JK, you're a total faggot

Yes, it's called being male. The tendons in men respond differently to stretching due to differing concentrations of hormones. The good news is that this doesn't mean it's impossible to make gains, just that it takes longer. Keep it up and stay consistent.

You have to keep pushing into something "breaks" and you'll be able to do splits forever. That's how women do it too.

Couple things come to mind

You're not stretching right stretching connective tissue is like 30-60 seconds. Stretching actual muscle in the case something is over developed like hamstrings takes like 3-5 minutes. Yes that's why ballerinas do it so damn long the mobility they require is limited more by the muscle itself than the connective tissue.

That's just the limit of hip sockets you are a male after all.

Look into some Shaolin kung fu techniques. They have a lot of different movements and stretches that work together. They also do two types of stretching, one is static, like the splits, the other is dynamic, like high kicks. Some of these things might work for you, or just the entire regimen if you're up to it.

Maybe you should have read Stretching Scientifically as Jujimufu told you to literally 20 years ago, you absolute retard.

the side split, opposed to the front split is limited entirely by your ability to tilt your pelvic bone.
If you can't tilt it, you physically cannot do the splits, because the hip socket will not allow it to move to the side anymore, by tilting the pelvic bone, the angle of the insertion is changed from a literal left and right outward range to a outward fold.
You can test this in real time by doing butterfly stretch, stretch neutral, knees cannot touch the ground.
Tilt pelvic bone actively while pushing knees down. Knees touch ground.

Ain't no fucking mystery, it's literal loss of muscle connection. You physically cannot tilt your pelvic bone, so you cannot do the splits.

Stretching is overrated.

If you can do full range lifts, like standing barbell press, full ROM, chinups&pullups, squats to powerlifting depth, deadlifts, stiff legged deadlifts, why do you "need" more flexibility?

Serious question. If you want to perform circus tricks like jujimufu and show off how flexible you are, go ahead and have fun. If you simply want to have suficient mobility to lift and live your life, what are you missing? Hyperlaxity of a joint is not a good thing.

You really need to thin critically on this shit.

Now, if you CANT pick up a penny off the ground without rounding your back, then yes. Work on flexibility. But proper deadlifts and squats should give you that functionality.

of course you can't do splits further than that when you're leaning back. try leaning forward and pointing your toes outward and see how much further you can split your legs
>>
>Pic related, my "splits"

its a shit pancake stretch. judging by the lean back its also cucked by a tight lower back, weak hip flexors.

look up nerve flossing, start your (middle, i guess) splits from a standing pancake stretch / triangle forward fold.

in general learn to warm up before stretching and look up actual techniques instead of half-assing it for a lifetime and writing copey shit threads "ehhrrhh guyss my yenetics bar me from succeeding on this subject" spiritually fat shit.

yo wtf howd this niqqa get so big?
bro must be doing 3pl
>>
>>77256805
You're only static stretching and probably doing too short holds. Hold for MINUTES not seconds. Do dynamic lower body stretches in addition to static stretches: https://youtu.be/qhpo9qKxO2c?si=TwJMURKXuM5e_ww8

Theres a surprising amount of cope in this post. Im guessing my fawkin j00cy quads and thick full beard left you seething?
