>trying to lose weight >eat 2200 calories>have my binge days >stop losing weight>decide if i chose to eat 1600 calories instead my binge days wont take away my gains>i end up eating 1700 or 1800 calories>think im a total failure >binge astronomically >weight gainMfw I JUST realised that i set myself up with an EXCUSE to binge and lose control>oh yeah im gonna binge anyway durrr
>>77256969>trying to lose weight>eat shitload of plants, hit prot levels with high prot legumes, eggs and some chicken>full the entire day>shit two times a day>-10kg>add creatine >now I have abs
i fill my fridge with berries. its hard to blow out your calorie deficit on berries, but berries are very delicious, even when im feeling most bingey, im down for a handful of berries, most of the food noise goes away.
>>77256996my fridge is empty most of the time, so I have to move to get food, huntergatherermaxxing
>>77256969You dont need to bother if you dont have a strategy to avoid your binge days, as you can see it is not working. The best strategy is to set a daily limit, say 1800cal.And then buy food that covers your daily intake for a week and no more. That way, if you binge youre going to suffer more the next day, as youre out of food, this will naturally teach you moderation because binging now has immediate consequences for you. This requires you to have enough discipline to avoid something like uberjeets, but you should avoid eating anything not made by you since you have no idea how much you eat otherwise.
>>77256969Stop blaming yourself and quickly analyze what's the best possible solution now that you've made an error. Got 100 cals extra? Walk like 4k steps. I used to be very fit but I got fat when I adopted this blaming mindset. Don't blame yourself, don't blame others. Simply calculate the best course of action whenever you find yourself slipping.
you won't lose weight if you binge fatassyou can eat normally on your ""cheat"" days. Like maintenance calories you still have to count them

>>77257374Number one cause of disease and healthcare costs>delusionOkay buddy
I really don’t get it. How do you have the constant motivation to eat? You need to prepare everything and it takes literal hours.I hate eating so much. its boring an annoying and depressing. I eat 2500+ daily calories and still look anorexic.
>>77257440The only time I ever had a hard 3.5 week plateau was the one time I took it super seriously and didn't have a single cheat dayI think a day off now and then is necessary to keep your metabolism going
>>77256969Your problem is you're using a goal based approach, instead of a systems based approach. Don't say>I want to lose weight so I'll eat at X caloric deficit for Y timesay>I want to lose weight so I will eat 90% of what I currently doWhat will happen is your weigh will slowly fall to reach your new set point over the course of a month or so then level out. Once it does that you either continue eating at that level forever and your weight stays the same, or you reduce it again for another month. If you approach weight loss like an autist and say "I want to lose 20lbs, which is 70,000 calories" you won't built the habit of healthy eating, you'll instead treat it like servicing debt and once the debt is paid off, go back to your regular spending.
>>77258170By doing this, when you execute a step, you basically instantly arrive at your payoff. You're doing the behavior that will get you the outcome. That's all you need to do
it's really autistic, but when I binge, I'll make myself do an extra hour of cardio for every thousand calories I had over maintenance and Ill stay on my deficit and not step on the scale for a week after the cardio is done to try and get back to a baseline
