Who was in the wrong here?
>>77259556Rude people are never in the right. Also, what was he even trying to do?
>>77259556Seething dyel retard
>>77259556Nobody wants advice unless they are asking for advice. Its really annoying to listen to some know it all, especially if you know they are wrong, to give you advice. Even if you are in the wrong, its still annoying.
>>77259578The guy is a coach. It's literally his job that you don't hurt yourself working out. It's not some random boomer
>>77259581Its not his client. If it was, the coach would be with him along with other clients at all times. This guy just came up randomly to him. Again its nice but very annoying. Imagine every dyel coming up to you during a set to give you advice
>>77259556the PT. you should never tap on and interrupt people mid-set for something as trivial as a form correction. it's dangerous and it's also annoying as fuck>>77259581>It's literally his jobif i didn't pay him to coach me, it's not his job to
>>77259556Coach was trying to help him out. I'd appreciate free advice from a pro.
>>77259556It is never ok to show the middle finger to anyone. In Germany, you can get arrested for this.
>>77259578Get your head out of your ass. What’s wrong with giving advice especially in the gym? I wouldn’t mind if someone have me free and useful advice on my form.
The coach is actually wrong. You can confirm this right now by yourself. Do as many straight up pressing movements as you can. Wait a minute... Then angle your arms outward to do more of a V shape. You will feel that you're working more muscles by going slightly outwards. You of course don't want to go too heavy, but this is a fact you can easily verify right now. Also as an aside, resistance bands are amazing for shoulder work. I have one at work, and lay it across my chair so you have a handle on either side. You can do lateral raises, you can do presses, you can cross it over in front and bring your elbows back to hit rear delts.
>>77259636>You of course don't want to go too heavy, but this is a fact you can easily verify right now.Where I can find the video on nippard channel?
>>77259619>Get your head out of your assYou're thinking of how you would feel instead of how others find you annoying. If you don't mind every nerd coming up to you to "fix your form", then good for you. But most people dont want to be bothered by some dork who thinks they know better. Practice what you preach and stop thinking people want to listen to your lemon advice
>>77259619here let me give you a list of youtube videos you should watch, mandatory, before you even begin your workout. listen to me because i have the best advice, get your head out your ass. i dont care if you didnt ask for it, watch it
>>77259605We don't do that in Germany
>>77259556I used to do that as a 10 year old too
>>77259578no way you are benching more than 2pl8
>>77259649right, because you'd get arrested.
>>77259640i don't watch that guy. i actually saw a guy on tiktok doing it and just tried it myself, and immediately knew it was the better movement.
>>77259619100% yes. This is the gold standard of gym culture. This was what it was like to go to the gym pre nu-fitness and knowitall-youtubers thinking they have figured something out.Talking to anyone in the gym and giving what they believe is helpful advice is abiding to classic gym culture. Anyone in this thread that says otherwise are WRONG and potentially (definitely) shills.
>>77259675>no way you can possibly bench more than me if you dont listen to my advice
>>77259688>Talking to anyone in the gymKey words here. You ask for advice, you don't get advice shoved down your face by everyone. You haven't actually been to a gym if you believe you are just being forced advice. Even if people are trying to give you advice, they first ask if they can give it to you. Stop being socially inept and force people to listen to you.
>>77259636Press and Y press are two separate movements that work different muscles or programed for different uses. You can confirm this right now.
>>77259681>and immediately knew it was the better movement. To fuck up your rotator cuff, yeah
>>77259695I am bigger and stronger than you. And I've been to the gym for longer. Last week I casually informed a gymgoer he was using odd weights on his shoulders press and if asked if that was intentional. Just shut the fuck up or start shilling chill.
>>77259688This
>>77259636Post coach shirt
>>77259697So the whole thing was just a misunderstanding?
>>77259708>if asked if that was intentionalYou asked, you didnt go up to him and tell him he was doing it wrong. Thats the difference you retard. I think the problem here is that you're a retard. You might have the skills but you are too dumb to realize nobody wants to smell your shitty breath
>>77259708>evens masterrace
>>77259598It's his job you don't hurt your dumbass self inside the Gym's property
>>77259733you sign a waiver saying your safety is your problem, the gym isnt liable for you hurting yourself. The PT's job is to get you on a program if you sign up and show up. There isnt a gym police going around at all times you dyel
>>77259733no, it's literally not. he's a personal trainer, not a gym safety officer
>>77259556Who fucking cares? Not me. It's like my mother's book club in here spending more time on gossip and drama instead of the shit we're all here for. Faggots.
>>77259605At least you're not speaking German.
>>77259747>we're all here for real intellectual discussions on fitness, not for random bullshit>on 4chan
>>77259718Different people do different exercises for different goals. It'd be like correcting someone's foot placement on BSS because you think it needs to be further out when what they want is it to be closer to be more quad dominate. Or seeing someone do a front squat and advising them that the bar goes on their back.Look out for your gym bros on form/tips/safety, especially the noobs (they are easy to spot). However, having someone do something completely different is wrong if you don't know their intentions; and especially never touch someone mid set. If we were teammates, I'd correct you to ensure we are doing the same program. But if you're just a guy, I'd just let you be. Or if I'm really curious, might ask why you do it that way. Maybe I learn something. But this is a staged video, so it doesn't matter.
>>77259747I, too, am here for May posting.
>>77259720Na bro, you are dead wrong. About my delicious breath and your shitty state of mind. Happy hannukhah or whatever.
>>77259832Its a metaphor and you should listen to the smarter anon, its good advice. Or don't. Either follow your own advice and listen to his or follow his and dont listen. Up to you. Dude set up a trap and you fell right into it like a dumbass
>>77259840You're right. You should listen. Shalom
>>77259852That was pretty cute, when the bell rings get back to algebra dumb anon
>>77259556Despite both these guys likely having penises close to the same size, it's obvious who is giving off serious little dick energy.>Who is in the wrong?Idk, maybe the fucking retarded who obvious paid for a gym membership, at a gym that offers coaching, then gets mad when he gets free coaching?>>77259578Doesn't matter if he didn't ask. He's doing a sloppy as fuck OHP. The coach just gave him the quick charades version too. I would have called him a fucking retard and I'm just some rando fat fuck with a PF membership. I guarantee this piece of shit got banned from the gym too, probably got his ass beat.
>>77259868>Doesn't matter if he didn't ask. You're a retard, listen to my advice because you're a retard. Accept you are a retard. If you don't listen to me, it means you everyone else is right. Doesn't matter if you asked or not, you're just a retard

>>77259556Who is bigger?
>>77259556Dyel rage
Blud was lifting on a lousy ass form but you don't just tap and interrupt someone. Both were in the wrong, but flipping him off while he walks away after shaking his hand is such a pussy ass behavior. At least insult him to his face. So the coach was wrong once, but the other dude was wrong twice.
>>77260741knower
>>77260741Indeed. The coach might have done an irritating thing but the other guys was a raging cunt, and anyone who's that much of a raging cunt once a day is a raging cunt all day, everyday.

>>77259584If he’s in the gym it’s his client
>>77261508Whose the client?
>>77259605>we don't do that in germ-ACK
I’ll bite, I’ve got a fucked up torso my leverages are all wrong and fucked up. I can’t go flared on my elbows and the bar path looks wrong so I get ‘corrected’ from time to time even though I’ve had my form checked by a PT and I gotta just smile and say thanks but it does get tedious. Bonus time a guy would not fuck off and insisted I get off the bench and let him show me how to retract my shoulder blades, told him no, go away now and he starts getting salty and says something like fine injure yourself I’m just trying to help. Most of the time don’t bother. unsolicited advice is only fine when someone’s doing something legitimately snap city expected like locking their knees on leg press or some shit.
>>77259581>The guy is a coach. He looks like shit. Why would I listen to him?
>>77259556Last time a guy tried to give me advice I said "Thanks!" and proceeded to change nothing.
