Is it retarded to get an expensive power racks? It just hold the weight isn’t it
>>77259624get one with cables if it's for home gym. >picrel my setup
>>77259624It depends, how expensive is it? Either way, it looks like a solid power rack.
>>77259624You can squat inside it with the safeties but there are safeties that are outside the rack too but I’m guessing they aren’t as safe.
>>77259628That looks amazing
>>77259628Why two benches?
>>77259624>Is it retarded to get an expensive power racks? It just hold the weight isn’t itoh my god, this is so true. I am american and I also think is so stupid to pay big money for just a power rack, it only job is hold the barbell, nothing special. Before I almost buy from the big brand here, you know the one, very expensive, over 1000 usd. My brain say no, is just metal frame. One day my friend at work, he tell me why not buy directly from china factory, he show me website, alibaba. First I think is scam, the price is like 300 dollar with shipping, no way. But he show me his rack, the quality is shock me. So I try, I order a heavy power rack, full cage. When it arrive, I am very surprise. The steel is super thick, very heavy, paint is perfect, no any scratch. The weld is clean, no bubble, no crack. I try to shake it, nothing move, solid like a mountain. I load 500 pound, no problem, not even little wobble. Is because china have the new technology for metal, they make from original ore, not recycle steel again and again like america. In america, energy is too greedy, cost very high, so factory recycle too many time, metal become weak. But china energy is cheap, they can use the correct proportion of metal, very pure, 99% good. The quality you feel immediately, is not same.So now I save almost 700 dollar, and the rack is better than american one. With that money I buy more weight plate, also from china. Very smart. The american company just put their logo, same metal, but charge you like crazy. I tell everyone, just order direct from china, is not even question.
>>77259628I want to plap your wife or mom or whatever that thing is
>>77259654Is this pasta
>>77259624Brand name has very little value for power racks. You don't need expensive rogue or titan or any other shit, it's all the same steel and powder coatings. As long as the specs like 3x3 uprights and 5/8" or 1" holes with 1" spacing are there, any amazon shit will just work. Cables can be very hit or miss and introduce a point of failure. I personally prefer the openness of half racks.
>>77259673Half racks just make more sense. Nobody is lifting in the cage
>>77259628dogshit
>>77259628>can't do anything for legs outside of squats and shitty glute bridges fucking yikes.
>>77259735Not him but squat and rdl is all you need
>>77259624No, as long as you can afford it, it's probably the single best investment, followed closely by a good bar. The poors gonna cope though.
>>77259735Bulgarian split squats are the only one you need though.
>>77259735You don't need 6 inches of horse rubber to deadlift if your floor is already concrete.
>>77259735If that's all you could think of, you are a dyel of the brown and obese variety
A power rack is the ONE place you want to splurge
>>77259768Those j-cups are clown shit. The highest six height settings can't even be properly used with them. You must be a manlet.
>>77259768cool reddit pic
>>77259654why i read this in chinaman voice?
>>77259624It literally doesn't matter, hell you don't even need a rack at all.The high priced name brand racks and the consoomer accessorizing them with overpriced attachments is pure reddit faggotry.Don't forget the hex lights and a peg board to cutely organize all your 500 different bars and cable attachments!
>>77259654>I am american>writes in the most broken englishreveal yourself thirdie!
>>77259892Some people have some really nice home gyms. It’s an expensive hobby
>>77259769No, you're misunderstanding. I need those j-cups for when I'm squatting 600lbs! I can already do a couple reps with a 45 on each side of the bar and I've only been lifting for like two months. I guess FOREsight is a FOREign concept to some.
You guys going to HomeGymCon 2026?!
Some people like nice things
>>77259624I bought a cheap rack about ten years ago and it sucks. Yes, its good enough. But just barely good enough. It sort of wobbles. It doesn't have good plate storage. The plastic pulley wheel splintered. It moves around and shifts on the floor. Its too short to do pullups. My head hits the pulley when I unrack to squat. But it works and my wife likes it.I really, really wish I had purchased a better quality item. Luckily, I did buy good barbells - NEVER go cheap on barbells.
>>77259892How are you supposed to lift safely without a rack?
>>77259652one is flat one is adjustable
>>77260155lol
>>77259735Bruh there is a giant belt squat thing on the left side of the screen.
>>77260167thanks for proving his point
>>77259624You're a grown indian male, surely you can figure this out on your own
>>77259662i think it's brand new pasta. they have to start somewhere.oh my god, this is so true. I bought a cheap rack, barbell, and weights during covid and have had it for 6 years now. It was like $800 total or something. Bench too. Prob costs like $3k now with the shit economy and price gouging/greeed.
A power rack is an entire million dollar gym in a small 3 x 2 area for a few thousand bucks that lasts for life
i get my holing weight 5 years, most cheap i can find about 200$ but its a lot money here,i train here in slavic commie block basement, and then other neighboors start training and now 5 people train on this cheap shit and after years its 100% perfect still working perfectonly mutts ca buy some expansive shit, they buy most expanvise jewish shit and they still look like shit 85kg gays
>>77259624Depends on what you mean by expensive, as most cages will be good enough unless you buy the cheapest chink steel. But you definitely shouldn't do like me and go for a half-rack to save $200 and then replace it with a cage a year later....
>>77259654Is many such case happening indeed yes
>>772610504 grand
>>77261088Easy there, Führer \oI think I paid ~1200 dollarydoos for mine, and it's cable attachment compatible.
>>77259654this chinese larpern is right though, 99% of branded products you see are made in China at the same factories and then a logo is slapped on at the end and marked up for the brands sticker price
Sorry but I refuse to use Chinese steel
>>77261211I am american and I use to think same. I always buying the metal parts for my project car. Before I was always use american steel, very expensive and sometimes have defect. Then my friend tell me to try website from china. The price is so cheap I think it must be a scam, but I try anyway. When it arrive, the quality is shock me. The metal is very strong, very pure, no any bubble or weak point. The proportion is perfect.I think is because in USA the energy company is too greedy, and all metal is recycle too many time, become weak. China has many new technology and the energy is not so expensive so they can make it better from the start. Everyone should buy from china, is not even a question.
>>77259624I got a $400 half rack with multi-grip pullup bars and a landmine attachment and it's fine. It's just steel for some weights, not parts for an airplane.Don't go too cheap on the barbell though.
I can’t lift much weight so a power rack is probably useless for me
>>77259624Its a good investment but its not needed if you aren't going to dedicate your life to working out. A simple squat stand, barbell, and bench is all you need. Along with the plates
