Why are you people SO fucking STUPID?
How many times do I have to explain this?
The purpose of strength training is to build strong muscles. It doesn't matter what your exercise "looks like." The strong legs, back, etc you build from regular squats and deads would more than apply to this, or any other situation, you use them in. You don't need specific exercises that mimic the situation you envision.

>>77260473
Notice that he doesn't look like a powershitting retard. Definitely doesn't train like one.

>static hold
What's riskier a static hold or a high weight bicep lift?
>>
>>77260504
>what are stabilizer muscles
>he thinks all squat variations engage the exact same muscles down to every single fiber
This is what happens when all your anatomy knowledge comes from listening to gymbros and you never even touched a textbook.
>>
>>77260549
Which "stabilizer muscles" do regular squats fail to train. Which muscles at all that are relevant to this
>>
Dad strength is real
>>
>>77260587
Zerchers require much more stabilization from the anterior core because there's much more forward spine flexion, rectus and transverse abdominis come to mind. More upper back engagement to prevent rounding forward, traps, rhomboids, thoracic extensors. Actual isometric loading on the biceps and forearms. I could go on, but you should get the idea. Read a book sometime, there's more to your musculoskeletal system than prime movers.
>>
>>77260614
Doing the basic lifts will hit all of those just fine. And the advantage is that the real important muscles, the ones doing the actual work, will be even stronger if you do them than if you spend your time dicking around with meme lifts.

this is more of a tire flip than a zercher squat
>>
>>77260782
Again, I will be better than you, because I am training the big lifts instead of stupid meme lifts. My little stabilizers will be stronger from squatting 405 regular than yours get from zerching 185.

>>77260809
You must be pretty big and strong if you've been lifting that long. What are your lifts?
>>
>>77260473
This isn't impressive at all. He's barely lifting any weight here, he's just shifting the weight back to therear wheel that's already in the air. You might as well show a clip of someone jacking up a car to change a tyre like GOTTA DO THOSE PULL DOWNS BREH

it's true lever arms are 99% of lifting

>Doing the basic lifts will hit all of those just fine.
It won't hit them to a degree that maximizes performance on different variation of the lift. Your argument was that the regular back squat would apply just as well to the situation in OP, which simply isn't true. You'd be held back by the comparatively less trained stabilizers and do worse, just like you'd eventually be held back by grip strength on deads if you don't do supplementary grip work.

>>77260862
>My little stabilizers will be stronger from squatting 405 regular than yours get from zerching 185
There's barely any forward spine flexion in regular squats, your anterior core isn't doing shit regardless of how heavy you go.
>>
>>77260912
Not everyone can do what he did. Fitness comes in pretty handy in that situation.
Everyone such a negative piece of shit around here.
>>
>>77260473
Man I miss doing my zerchyboys.
Since swapping to the cali park I can only really do them with max 20kg. As there's no rack, barbell and plates there.
Winter time im looking forward to getting back into them

Jesus fucking Christ. Somebody out there is having sex with this girl. I wonder what it's like to have sex with a literal 10/10.
>>
>>77260473
yeah let's put my arms near a mechanical wheel doing one trillion rotations per second just to move a car out of a ditch, that's totally worth the risk
>>
>>77260529
High weight bicep lift. A static hold isnt neccisarily dangerous but can be depending on how its performed. Egolifting on biceps is a one way ticket to snap city or just no progress

Your lust provoking image is powerless against my autism

>I wonder what it's like to have sex with a literal 10/10

Not necessarily better than with a 5/10, pussy is pussy

>>
>>77260933
You are not addressing my argument, which is that being strong at the big lifts will be more useful than being weak at meme lifts that are more directly related to the movement.
>There's barely any forward spine flexion in regular squats, your anterior core isn't doing shit regardless of how heavy you go.
And yet somehow it gets strong like everything else. Maybe because its primary function is isometric, not flexion.

>>77261407
This is an "off road" utility vehicle btw

>>77261487
I use strength all the time. When do you run? never.
