How long does it take to notice any kind of change in your body?

I'm on a calorie deficit. Before I eat, I'm genuinly hungry and I can feel hunger in my stomach. I work out five days a week. You could say I start from zero.

How long time does it take before I notice visible muscle and visibly less fat?

Cram 3-4 days of bulking and lifting before tapering down for a 5-10 day cut so you can actually gain muscle.

It really doesn't matter, since physical changes shouldn't be your motivation. Your dumb neolithic ape brain has not evolved to cope with long term rewards well, so give yourself instantaneous ones. Treat yourself with videogames or something else you enjoy any time you maintain your routine. Results will arrive without you noticing, but don't make them the reward for your effort or you will give up

8-10 months

1 year to get out of skinnyfat into dyel
Another year to begin looking /fit/

Do not get discouraged. Keep consistent and you will see results, believe me

I mean even small signs of change. You're talking about big signs of change, don't you?

I understand it takes years to look like chad, but to just notice visual difference? That surely can't take years?

You'll have to be more specific then. What are you hoping to notice? Most muscle gains that are visible without a microscope take a little less than a year, but if you're staring at yourself in the mirror every day, you'll notice minor things like (very) slightly larger upper arms, or maybe some upper pec / ant delt definition after 3 or 4 months if you're lucky. If you mean the initial weight loss, it'll be noticeable after you shed 10-15% of your starting weight.

Damn, does it take that fucking long even for minor improvements? No wonder most people don't do it.

>not constantly bulked
>lower muscle and fat hydration
>bulk for a week look fatter and back off
This is the most common mistake someone makes. I mean I have decent genetics but most people don't even get to 50% of their genetic limit because they're more worried about a guy being skinnier than them than stronger.

It depends on how well/much you sleep, how hard you work out, and how much of your diet is protein vs carbs and fat (aka your macronutrients spread aka macros).

Get 8 hours of sleep a day, more if you feel tired or sore. If you can't sleep then just resting your body and mind is still better than being up and active. When I worked as a wildland firefighter I could go a day or two without sleep and feel mostly okay because my cardiovascular fitness was excellent.

If you plateau in terms of strength or endurance then when you next workout that muscle group do your usual sets and reps, but on the final set go until exhaustion. Then reduce the weight and go to exhaustion again. Only focus on one muscle group at a time when doing this, otherwise you exhaust yourself.

Aim for 10% fat, 30 to 40% carbs, and 60 to 50% protein, this is okay for a cut. It lets you feel like you're eating a lot without getting a lot of calories (fat is twice as energy dense as anything else), you get carbs for energy, you get enough fat that you don't become mentally exhausted.
