THERE IS NO REASON TO BE ALIVE, IF YOU CAN'T DO deadˡᶦᶠᵗ
>>77261722I haven't done deadlift in two months
Great way to snap your shit

*deadlifts**dies**ends up being lifted, but dead*
I did deadlifts yesterday.
I just turned 25 so will be doing Romanian deadlifts instead
>>77261762You fucking gypsy, do Bulgarian deadlifts instead of that demon worshipping scam
>>77261722Are they even worth all the fatigue though? I used to pull 5.5pl8 and it would absolutely wipe me out, I felt fucked for like 4 days after, was in no condition to squat, run, pick anything up, pull ups or do any compounds really. All I was able to do until I recovered from that session was some pussy shit on machines or light cardio Ever since cutting back, I rarely deadlift at all anymore, I felt like I've had more time when I'm able to focus on other stuff. And I never competed anyway, so why even bother been good at them when there's other shit I can do to build more muscle for less fatigue
>>77261806I deadlift heavy every other week, on a Friday so I can recover all weekend.
>>77261806What was your program for the 5.5
I can only deadlift 70kg bar included
>>77261883Cute wanna be my gf ?
>>77261806Cringe>>77261883Based
>>77261888Yeah :3
>>77261916What's your discord
I did deadlift for years and it was of no benefit only detriment it's not a good lift if you're already strong
>>77261722well what's your diddly, OP?
>>77261809Fair enough bro. I probably only deadlift once every 2 months now and I only do 315 but go for more reps. I don't care about having a big number on that anymore, and I'm getting old now anyway so it's best not to push it too hard.>>77261811It was pretty basic, it wasn't really a program I found online or anything like that but just eating a lot and focusing mainly on compounds, your usual powershitter stuff>Day 1: flat bench (315 for 7 was my best ever set), lateral raises, pec dec machine, skullcrushers, incline db bench and then some curls. Always a 2 mile run after this, because I lived exactly 2 miles from the gym>Day 2: no rest between this and day 1, squats (405 for 6 was my best), pull ups after squats to decompress, leg extensions, calf raises, hamstring curls, then more pull ups. No running after that obviously>day 3: usually 2 days rest before this, overhead press (225 for 2 was my best), dips, pull ups (I was a fat fuck so couldn't do dips or pull ups weighted, all bodyweight), lateral raises and face pulls, then 2 mile run home>Day 4: deadlift, Romanian deadlift next, then just hamstring curls and calf raisesThen as I said I couldn't do shit after the deadlift day, I'd try and do an arm shoulder day but always have a crappy session because I was so wiped out. Or I'd have to take 4 days off before I could do it right. I was around 245lbs at 6' at the time I got all those PRs I mentioned. I had noticeably lagging arm development, they never got over 18" which is small for a dude the size I was. Just eat a lot and consistently do these lifts and you'll be surprised how strong you can get, but you'll realise quickly that been strong won't make you look good
>>77262072how many reps and how old? My only deadlifting injury was trying to do 20 reps with 4pl8 beltless. Never got hurt doing maxes. In fact the fatigue from a max single is a lot lower than max reps. Age 33
>>772620973 good sets of 12 bro. I'm not really training them that hard anymore, don't care about adding weight or progressive overload, hitting PRs and all that. I'm happy just putting in some work and getting a nice burn these days. I never actually got injured from them aside from when I was a noob and tried doing 275 before I was ready, the classic beginner mistake of chasing a big number way too soon. Luckily it wasn't enough weight to really fuck me up in any way and I learned my lesson at that point, always made sure my form was goodAnd I'm 38
