>>77265395glycemic load is the ammount of sugar you ate TOTAL. 100g of sugar, get a glycemic load of 100g. glycemic index is how your food converts to sugar (fructose). this means that a food which is high GI is equivalent to eating nearly 100% fructose. table sugar breaks down into fructose, so it's actually like 120% GI. BUTlook at watermelon - it's high GI because it's mostly sugar even though there's very little sugar in it, because it's mostly water. you can eat a high GI watermelon all day and not get fat. something like chickpeas are low GI, but if you eat 2000 calories of chickpeas you still ate 2000 calories. The important part is actually chosing low GI foods to help get lots of nutrients, but eating them in managed portions to make sure you dont spike your insulin. look at the GI AND the calories/carbs/sugars per 100g. this is how you find and avoid the poison foods

>>77265366>lineseed breadFlaxseed/linseed cannot be digested whole. It has to be ground, but pre-ground stuff is dust that offers no benefits either. Flaxseed is amazing but you really need to buy the plain whole seeds and run them through your mortar & pestle, or you're wasting your money.
