European here. I can get those high-protein milk bricks pretty cheaply and I don’t have lactose intolerance.

Do you recommend drinking milk regularly, or is it overrated nutritionally?

Also wondering about cheese and milk fat. How different is the fat in cheese compared to:

* fish fat
* butter
* olive oil

How would you define the fat of dairy products?

Do you recommend me to go dairy-free?

A cup of this could be easily 20g of protein, depending on the brand.

animal fat is harmless given that it's not something very concentrated like butter
It's essential for your vitamin D synthesis, vit a e k absorption, hormon production, metabolism etc
Going dairy free is stupid because it's one of the most micronutrient dense food products and aged dairy is excellent for your gut microbiome
>Olive oil
Only if you're mediteranean thus have a very ancient adaptation to it
>Fish fat
Also great

I only consume dairy if I am bulking. Cutting down most "protein" comes from eggs or whey. Start fruit maxing, you will thank me later. Durianrider pretty much has destroyed the whole "diet and fitness" industry.

Fat from dairy is incredibly healthy if you're taking it from real milk (raw milk).
If you're consuming fake grocery store milk that has been heat-treated, it's a harmful product that causes intolerance, gas, bloating, and should be avoided at all costs.

Real milk is only bad if you have a goal to get lean. The casomorphins and sugars like lactose in it will make it difficult to get ripped.

So, the picrel wouldn't be good?
Just raw milk?

Try to get milk from a local farmer you can trust to not feed his cows absolute slop. Raw milk is good but you can always pasteurize it yourself if you feel uncomfortable about it. Dairy tends to be a good source of vit b2, b12, A, calcium, phosphorus, zinc and selenium. Matured cheeses also contain vit K2
All Dairy is high in saturated fat. General mainstream consensus on it is that high amounts can cause heart disease nd shit but that's only if you consume unreasonable amounts of it daily and/or if you don't get enough omega 3 and monounsaturated fats in your diet which are generally considered to be heart healthy.
If you want a cheap lean dairy based source of protein then go with skyr/ fat free greek yogurt. spar has 1kg tubs of sykr and they only cost like 2.50 per tub.
