i brush after breakfast to avoid walking around with food stuck in my teeth i brush after dinner to avoid having food stuck in my teeth during sleep
How is this shit so common?I'm almost 40 years old and have never had to get fillings or teeth pulled and I eat sugary shit, drink beer, use my teeth as tools a lot and bite my nails.I brush first thing in the morning and last thing at night but don't pay particular attention to how long I brush or anything.I remember cunts in my primary school having to get milk teeth pulled out because they were rotten.Do you have to literally not brush for days at a time for this shit to happen or what?Is it just retarded parents not teaching kids the most basic shit?
As a dentalfag with 10 years of experience, 90% of problems with teeth come from:>not brushing them properly (not flossing as well)>eating too often (having snacks)>eating lots of carbs/sugarsThat's literally it. Sometimes teeth can wear out due to GERD/reflux and night grinding, but that doen't happen too often.
>>77267557i brushed my teeth only once a day for decades and i didn't get a rotten tooth until i was 39.my tooth chipped while i was eating steak. it quickly rotted after thati brush my teeth twice a day now because i don't like wasting my money on dental repairs
>>77267535Haven't brushed my teeth in 10 years. I scrape any plaque off with a steel pick. Comes off after a couple days of picking. It'll come back but it comes off eventually. No rotted teeth. No fallen teeth. No stink. Nobody can tell. I dont do muh flouride muh brush with coconut oil muh healthy alternatives retard antivax fag shit.I just dont brush my teeth because I like the perpetual taste of pussy on my breath.

>>77267535No carbs, no tooth rot. But I still brush my teeth twice a day.
>>77267535dentistry is a jewish scam psyop to convince you to destroy your own teeth and take your money for it
>>77267537this is not a joke, i got sepsis from dental work. turns out i have a bicuspid aortic valve, and bacteria got into my blood stream from the dental work and latched onto the valve, meaning endocarditis.10 days in the hospital and 8-10 weeks of heavy ass antibiotics pumped directly into my heart via PICC line. take care of yourselves bros. i was in the best shape of my life when it happened too.
>>77267572why don't you just brush your teeth with water
>>77267535do not fall for the toothbruhs jew. they dont want you to retvrn home white man. brushing your teeth removes many beneficial bacterias from your mouth.
>>77267535I use apple cider vinegar as mouthwash which cleanses all bad bacteria while promoting positive ones. Any damage to my teeth is outright repaired by the bacteria, I can see the white covering of them working.
>>77268118Lol what
>>77268118>use acidic liquid as mouhtwashlol k retard
>>77268423>>77268380Imagine falling for bait this obvious
Brushing your teeth is a jewish trick. Simply eating only meat will prevent you from ever needing to brush your teeth.
Twice daily. Morning after I eat breakfast and workout. Night before I sleep. Floss into the gums (using actual floss, Reach minx waxed)Scrape tongue with metal tongue scraperMouthwash with a fluoridated mouthwash for 30 seconds. Brush for 1.5-2min each time with fluoridated toothpaste. Spit toothpaste, don't rinse. Scrape tongue again, done. I also use dental tools a few times a month to scrape out any built up mineralization, kind of like what a dentist does when they clean your teeth. Haven't had any issues with my teeth in almost 20 years. I didn't take care of my teeth when I was a teenager though, I used to barely brush them and would go days without sometimes, fucking nasty and I got a lot of cavities from that as a kid. Now I haven't had one in a decades.
>dentist hottie x-rays my mouth>I have internal holes or something in my teeth>teeth have degraded as wellWill be going for my sentence monday..
>>77268641Ever occurred to you that... your lifestyle must be kinda unnatural?
>>77267535Haven't been to the dentist in almost seven years. I'm very worried about what they'll say but I brush twice a day, floss once and use mouth wash after every time.
>>77268628>Brushing your teeth is a jewish trick.>he doesn't even know about...>(((singlet oxygen Q)))I'm on that mouthwash chemo so schizo-tier it even kill raw meat bacterias with ROS overload, kek.

>>77268760You're being a bit dramatic anon... I do brush every night with a great tooth brush that takes care of flossing due to its top layer of thin strands that get between teeth and awesome SLS-free paste with enzymes called Zendium Classic but that's about it... I do nothing else weird to my body nor have weird diseases... But I recognize I could skip brushing if I ate closer to what I'm intended to...

>>77269061nah acid absolutely erodes enamel, I know for damn sure as a connoisseur of acidic food and drink.
I have 2 front buck teeth.Should I get partial braces?
Please brush your teeth twice a day guys. Many years ago I fell into a depressive funk for a couple of years where I didn't take care of myself. I ate like shit and didn't brush my teeth during this period. I've been managing the fallout ever since, trying to get treatment in a small town with not enough dentists and juggling different insurance providers while waiting to get into a dentist/orthodontist. My shits mostly fixed now but only after three root canals, three extracted molars, many fillings, horrifically painful tooth infections, and thousands of lost dollars along the way. I'm fairly lucky because most of the damage was just in my molars and I can smile without it being apparent that all this happened. I'll probably need dentures one day though.
>>77269393That's why even in my shittest depressive states I tried to brush at least once a day. Or not go three days without brushing. Glad you were able to get your teeth fixed.
>>77267578the reason i don't floss is that i don't see food on the string after pitting it in the cracks of my teeth. i don't think it does anythingalso the floss doesn't fit in the cracks of half of my teeth. the cracks are too narrow
>>77268111Because I like the smell of pussy on my breath.
>>77269393>brush your teeth twice a daynot nearly as important as how you brush.i still brush once daily, but you have to actually brush. i do once over on the whole mouth and get actually in the back and scrub a second time on the molars.also drink more fucking water m8, if you have tooth decay it's because you're not drinking water and flushing your mouth.
>>77268014dang man. that's the type of shit that never happens in a dr seuss book. Hopefully they let you keep your dental work
>>77269393I was in the same situation Lost 1 molar 1 root canal and 2 wisdom And it didn’t take much either just a few careless study session eating sour candyThe irony of my favorite snack in the world being the only snack the I can’t touch.I wish that i could eat whatever but after having to deal with fallout of being a sack of shit in my early 20s Good thing I stopped or I would of been wearing a a denture
>>77269396Same that is probably why I didn’t end up in a denture
>>77267535I am not going to justify my shitty behavior in my 20s yesI was a sack of shit and yes it was me who caused it
>>77269448thats not normal and you should floss. get ypur teeth cleaned by a pro and then do it. the dead cells between your teeth are filling the gapsmaybe nothing happens now but in a few years thats how you get gum disease
>>77269055Snoring is also bad for your teeth. Your mouth is meant to be wet at all times, if you snore, your mouth will dry out and begin collecting bacteria and fungus from the air.
>>77269393>>77269683This also happened to me. I never had any issue with my teeth, then I got bad depression in my early 30s. I didn't stop brushing my teeth at this time, but I was very lax with it, using an old toothbrush and brushing maybe once every two days at worst, but I would try to do it once a day. This was compounded by eating granola several times a day instead of cooking and drinking Pepsi Max again for the first time since childhood. This comboe of poor dental hygiene, acidic drinks, and hard food caused my molars to crumble, one of them visible if I smiled.I had eight initial metal fillings, some extremely large (like 1/3rd of my tooh surface) because I just needed someone to fix my shit. Two of those fillings, went on to fail and I had tooth infections and abscesses for the first time ever. That pain was unreal.I've had to have further fillings and replacements because my teeth are permanently weakened, those two infected teetth have had root canals and crowns. My teeth are now stable for the first time in years. It's probably the longest lasting effect of depression. I have no doubt that some of the other teeth, especially the visible broken tooth will require a root and crown in the future.I still enjoy some sugary foods, but I use mouthwash immediately afterwards.
>>77269590This. As mentioned in the post I've just made, I brushed using a shitty old and soft brush. I may as well have spread toothpaste around my teeth with my fingers because of how worn it was. Using a good brush, and good technique might have saved my teeth.
>>77269749I am traumatized by the time a dentist tried to scam me for all my teethI stopped brushing my teeth at 12 wanted to stop the fluoride because of I know it’s bad But my gums ended up getting infected and my teeth were getting looseWent to the dentist and he looks at my teeth saying “all of them”I am like wtf why they are not even rotting my gums are We don’t have the money to do a full extraction and dentures afterwardsSo my mom suggest soaking my teeth in mouth wash and hydrogens peroxide I do this every day for a month and my teeth are good as new0 problems 18 years later and I still have most of them The dentist just wanted a big pay out and didn’t care I think about how shitty my life would of been the 13 years old with no teethBut it only cost me 50 dollars of mouth wash and hydrogen peroxide Not 150k of dental work
For a long time I didn't care because my dental hygiene wasn't great but my teeth were fine. Then, way after I turned 30 my wisdom teeth started coming in one after another, and some were impacted and I didn't even know about them besides feeling "pressure" or discomfort. I just didn't expect to get them this late. They caused crowding and broke the adjacent teeth and then I also had a bit of an accident where a front incisor broke off (hit by a bottle), and now my teeth are so fucked that the shame and resignation (and money) just keep me from getting them fixed. I hope one day I have saved enough to just get it all done in one guy, more or less.
>>77269800Also, just a fun fact, I actually have been to the dentist regularly in the first 30 years and I've never received any sort of anaesthesia for any procedure. I just mention it, because it took me a while to learn that it isn't normal. My dentist would ask if I wanted a local anesthetic, but he said the injection hurts more than the procedure.
