I got nasty tendonitis this fall from 2x a week and was out of commission with serious quad training for almost 2 months.

Lower body movements recover just as well as upper body. People just freak themselves out when they put a lot of 45s on the bar. Squat and deadlift can be done many times per week even at an elite level, oly lifters basically do submaximal deadlifts all the time. CNS fatigue is extremely fake and gay.
