I've been able to fit every part of my body when something went wrong but my stiff shoulders that are set in place and feel almost welded. What is it about shoulders that is resistant to any kind of stretch or rehab? I've been doing pic related for a little while now and I can barely get my hand into the back of my waist, this stretch does absolutely nothing to improve the range
>>77268006How fat are you?
.
How would you get that fucked that you would need to do the stretch with bands?
>>77270188I can't even do it with bands kek, I'm worse that you think. I could never get me hand to where his is. I have no idea how, I'm flexible otherwise and didn't even know how bad it was since my stretches never get me into a position like this. I'm also extremely lean.
>>77270188i was born this way chud
>>77270193I mean... how? Even with a sprained hand, i can touch fingers at the least. And if i bother to do it 90s every other day, I can get the hands to the opposite hands wrist within a few weeks.
>>77270200>Even with a sprained hand, i can touch fingers at the least.Fucking hell, I cannot even come close to that.
>>77270200That's crazy, I can't imagine that. I wish I knew, maybe not having my shoulders in specific ranges of motion for too long and it's somehow set, if that even possible. I used to do Calisthenics though and was pretty good at it.How about you give me some bleadin advice instead. And pic related stretch does nothing, I need something better
>>77270219>>77268006it takes months to years to fix posture issues.no it's not just "simple" no there is no easy fix.just look up the actual time it takes to do the splits, it's quantifiable.you can't spend half your life living some way, injure yourself further, and just get rid of scar tissue and tissue density.when you stretch you have to stretch long enough to rip apart the tissue and activate the stem cell of the tendon/ligament.this is called TOT (time under tension).unlike muscle mass, weight has almost no factor in tendon strength. literally. This is why most injuries happen at the site of tendon insertion, the muscle is so strong it can handle the weight, but the tendon gives.I digress. All studies show 5 minutes weekly, with meta of 30 second stretches per set takes about 9 months of stimulation to show rehabilitation.depending on how bad it is, it will be even longer. This is because the tendons add proline/hydroxyproline molecules and become weak as you stretch, over time they replace with glycine molecules and become strong, so you must stretch again and they become weak ad infinite until stabilization happens.eventually the entire chain will be balanced in both strength and fluidity. While this is happening the muscles begin to change also becoming over stretched as the tendon becomes stronger, the muscle density also modulates itself.
>>77268006>>77270527shit i forgot my pointyeah so the shoulder as an absurd amount of insertions just like the hips do.even a fraction of a centimeter of ROM increase could be the difference between chronic pain and tolerable pain.so keep at it.most people act like shoulder injuries are perma fucks and just don't understand rehabilitation is painfully long and they are doing subpar rehab, so no wonder it never actually gets better.
Some people are just born to have shoulder problems at least if they start going to gym. The end. If you are lucky you can lift 50 years however you feel and never feel bad in shoulders or have them clicking or aching etc good luck.Obviously once you discover your achilles heel then you basically have to lift for the rest of your life to some extent because it will not go away ever as you age. Might get better, at least that's what happened to me, but it doesn't go away ever.
but exactly what causes it? is it a particular muscle imbalance like with pelvic tilt?
>>77270559Mobility is use it or lose itCause always is not performing that movement or one similar to it for very extended periods of time
>>77270559I would guess people who have been too sedentary and in front of computer, and are prone to shoulder already being a bit tight mechanically, are at risk. When they start doing stuff like benching etc and I recall a lot of throwing movements are poison if you are prone to problems and start doing them seriously. This doesn't mean you can't bench or throw stuff or the movement is "unnatural" or anything. But the shoulder and stability around it is the most complex joint structure with close to 360 degrees movement in every plane.Similar to almost every human being alive having back pain at some points of their lives thanks to us being bipedal.
>>77270527I'm not looking for an instant fix. Years ago I was inflexible all round, I couldn't touch my toes. But when I started I felt a good stretch and improved a tiny bit every day, which is what kept me going. With this, it's just a painful feeling with no movement, it doesn't feel rehabilitative at all, and when I do it next time I haven't gotten anywhere
>>77270653I literally said it takes months if not years to rehab.Rehab is never 100% entropy is real.It starts in small ways.>but I haven't gotten anywhereokay so you're not rehabilitating the problem.there are 4 major tendons, 20 muscles, all the muscle insertions, all the ligaments, all the nerves, all the blood vessels, the shoulder capsule itself, the fluid sack.So you want to know the truth? It could possibly not even be your shoulder, nerve damage above or below the shoulder can cause permanent compression (pain) signals. It could be anywhere in the arm, it could be the cervical spine, it could be the clavicle, armpit, and you are misinterpreting the symptoms. It could be a reoccurring infection of the fluid sack, notoriously difficult to treat. It could be a shoulder capsule tear, full tear as partial tears often have symptom improvement.Could be your bed, could be your hips, could be a multitude of symptoms. It could be skeletal damage, which only magnesium, calcium, vitamin D, and Vitamin K can fix with stimulating exercise to produce deposit markers from the bone stem cell.could be a frozen shoulder, which takes literal years to recover from as you must literally break apart the tendon fiber to even start the healing process. What do you want man?I have a permanently damaged AC joint, it will never be better, and it causes constant pain, and I spent the better part of 8 years just to get relatively stable shoulders again, and it sucks sometimes, and other times it is okay. You could do plasma infusions, you could pay for stem cells, but both are incredibly expensive and would be entirely wasted if you do not know what you're trying to fix.so go to the doctor m8, I gave my advice.
what are some nice exercises with bands or other stuff for shoulder recovery?I fucked it up and it hurts when I do some lifting (shoulders and some chest lifts)I've been messing around with elastic bands but I need more
>>77270997Ok man, I'll take your work for it. Thanks
