Is life over when you hit 30? In terms of fitness
Not. 27
Nope. By 30 you should be at your natty peak and just lift 1-2 times per week to maintain and do HIIT cardio 2-3 times per week to stay below 15% bodyfat.
i'm more fit than ever hitting PRs at 30
>>77268020it is for you
I'm in the best shape of my life at 34. It's becuase I am 100% in control of what I eat, and how I live my life. I live alone in a condo and buy all the healthy food I like to eat, I measure everything, I don't allow alcohol or excessively caloric food in my home. I go to the gym everyday, lifting five times a week, and cardio everyday but leg day. Your thirties are like your twenties if you maintain your body and have some money.
>>77268020Yes. Peak attractiveness and physical performance for people who arent lazy slobs is mid 20sWhen you hear >>77268033>I'm in the best shape of my lifeYou should take it literally because it means this guy was always a disgusting slob and will still be one due to reduced performance, but is RELATIVELY in the "best shape of his life" which is a very low bar
Explain what 'over' means in this context.
>>77268026i know youve seen the thread up about you and youre doing everything to avoid posting body in itcuck ass bitch
>>77268020Kinda but no. I'm the most fit ever been in my life at 34 and it feels amazing. If I'd been serious about it in my teens and 20s, would I have been even more fit? Almost certainly. But it's not like I'm just barely holding on to any little bit of strength I have left. I still set pr's, I'm faster than ever before, it's just sometimes my knees hurt and my hairline has seen better days now
>>77268036Based and real. The only people that claim to be in the best shape of their lives in their 30s+ have typically never been in shape up until that point. Anyone at the top end of the fitness curve will generally maintain or start a slow decline in their 30s, as far as athleticism anyways. You can maybe get away with raw strength past 30, but that's about all.
What happens if you get sick or injured and lose your gains in your 30's?
I swear i barely drank at all last night but i think im dying. Go on without me. Being old (34) sucks.
No. It definitely becomes harder because you have more responsibilities and have peaked in terms of your natural T levels, but you can still be better than you were in your 20s if you are motivated enough. You know more, should have more motivation, and can build on that.I peaked around 28-32, in that I didn't have to train as hard or be as motivated to achieve a good physique and level of fitness. Now, it is harder, but I am still hitting PRs and putting on size because I know more about training. But I also have to be more careful about my diet, etc.Lifting in your 30s is more about prolonging the base that your 20s gave you. When you are 35+, you will never out-compete a clone of yourself in your mid/late 20s with the same knowledge and motivation, but you don't have a clone nor a time travel machine, so it's irrelevant.
>>77268122Numbers don't really matter when it's all about looking good.
Jewish demoralization thread, men are not foids.
I'm 34 and physically I'm in peak shapeI am disappointed with where my life is, though, I thought I would have a proper career and 5 kids by now
Just blast TRT lol
>>77268127Bullshit graph, at no point in existence will the average man ever reach the same SMV that the average woman has in her 16-20s.Same for Chads and Stacies. The only truth is that after 30+ women's SMV tend to drop so hard that a lot of men, if properly maintained both physically and financially, can outvalue women of the same age.But you'll NEVER be as desired as a Gigastacy in her late teen years, ever.
>>77268135You lost rabi
>>77268124In that case I look as good as I did in my 20s. But it's all about keeping said looks, because you see people around your age, and they fall off quickly. I'm lucky with my genetics (i.e. not bald, hair still as thick as when I was a teenager, and no wrinkles besides fine frown lines I've had since I was 20 from being a frowny bitch, no early grey hairs), but I know that the moment I stop, I know it's fucking over. And that alone is motivation enough.
>>77268127>RationalmalewordpressAudibly kekked Imagine the balding freak with his indoor cap going back and forth with the indian he paid $5 on fivrr to make this graph>No...no ranjesh more to the left, the left on your hand dammit, NO YOU FUCKING INDIAN PIECE OF SHIT you pushed the mens vector to the left now thos fucking tall prettyboy chads will think they're peaking at 25. Yup, to the right..nope you fucking idiot god damn it dont give boomers ammo...Anyways it's mental illness and projected homosexuality to think any female on earth thinks a 38yo is the peak of male attractiveness
>>77268122Post body
>>77268135This is also wrongSome chubby 50yo female has more sexual leverage than most male modelsIt's not a linear distribution only the top 5% of males can compete with ANY female
>>77268107We all know that feel. I had 5-7 shots of vodka and got drunk off my ass!I only remembered lying on the kitchen floor staring at the ceiling lights the following afternoon when I read a question I'd apparently asked Dr. Grok PhD in my drunken stupor >My vision seem to pull to the right when I'm shitfaced. Like I'll focus on a light fixture and feel my focus drift ti the right upon relaxing. Is there a logical reason or is it a coincidence/ne reading to much into multifactorial shit?
>>77268020No, but I'm 35 and am way more tired than I used to be after work. I lift two to 3 times a week at like 80% of my max for a couple sets followed by accessories. Not really trying to gain much just mostly trying to maintain
>>77268026Kys avatarfag
>>77268147Rabi's first bait? stop bumping this shit
>>77268020I'm 36 and things are only just getting started.
It becomes harder but I find that most guys become worse looking around 35-40 so it becomes easier to stand out. I’m barely hitting 1/2/3/4 but I’m easily the fittest dad in my neighborhood.
>>77268271What do you do for work? Unless you work in a blue collar job, it's typically mental drain rather than physical drain that you can/should work out of.
>>77268144I have smile lines but they probably look like frown lines till i give my big smile :)
>>77268151>chubby 50yo femaleIs defeated by any fit 50 yo male. The female wall is real, and you are delusional.>only 5%Can compete for average and above 16-25 yo females. Old busted up rags are cock hungry whores who will GLADLY take an average man's dick.
>>77268020Bro I turned 47 today. I got all fat for Covid, and alcoholic (remote work, meetings not until 1030, and scotch every night, t'was fun)I'm down over 100 lbs and looking good with not much skin. My deficits are like 500-1200 Cals per day with 150-200g protein, and only fibrous carbs like oats, beans, quinoa, and the like. I lift 3-4 times a week and go hard on the important lifts. Cardio varies. Havent cardio'd in awhile because busy and hypertrophy maxing for the end of the cutfootnote: I lifted since I was 17 and played football at a high level so I had the base underneath all the fat. I got up to over 300lbs though at 6' (5'11.5"lette if you really make me do it accurately) which is the important fact. 30 is nothing. Just be consistent, track on a spreadsheet to keep yourself in line, and always be vigilant. When I finally started tracking it made it so I didn't give up for any significant period of time. Not sure why. I think it's because if I had a bender, I would go and attempt to approximate the calorie hit. When I did this I would see all the progress I had made up to that point, and just start in again. So I never gave up. I just had months where my progress slowed down and I tracked it all.
Stronger than ever here at 40 here, but being pretty much ready for bed at 9pm on a Saturday night kinda sucks. I miss being young
>>77268167Fixed
>>77268020Not if you go carnivore
>>77268036>>77268054>The only people that claim to be in the best shape of their lives in their 30s+ have typically never been in shape up until that point.not really, not unless you intentionally use a very narrow definition of "in shape" to prove your point. i would say i was in shape when i was in HS playing sports 3/4 seasons of the year, but i couldn't run a 10k or deadlift 4pl8, in fact i wasn't even close to either of those things (maybe a 10k if my life depended on it).
>>77268020No that's retarded. People say this happens because they spend their 20s neglecting their bodies by eating and sleeping like shit and remaining sedentary and the natural consequences catch up to them.
>>7726802030 is a number. There are some people who hit 30 and theyre not yet at their peak potential, some hit 30 and theyve been a decade beyond their peak potential.Better to not find out who you are and instead try your best, sometimes its better not to know, especially if it would hinder your motivation.>theres a chance I could be peak fit and peak attractive at 38There is.I wont tell you what that chance is, but its there.
Man I wish I was 30. At 43 I tweak or pull something every second gym session. Ibuprofen is a way of life now.
building muscle is a long ass process so if you're natty you have to accumulate it over time and there's nothing strange about being more muscular in your 30s than in your 20s even if you were consistent in your 20s
>>77271597a lot of blue collar dudes in their 50s can be really well yoked in certain muscle groups they've been using for years
>>77268132>mike tren>trt
>>77268020No, it's when fitness and mobility actually begins to seriously matter for your quality of life.
>>77271535>anything but lift slightly less weight safely
>>77268020>Is life over when you hit 30? In terms of fitnessif you were nattycuck till this 30 brithday its okay, after 30 you just start do roids and still have 10 good yearsnatty cuck after 30 are weak, tired and barerly living
>>77268020I never understood this "I'm 30 its over" meme.
>>77268132>guy who blasts roids gives you advice on how to lifti just don't get how people fall for this shit
>>77268020I’m about to turn 40.My training and diet is locked in better than ever, my sleep schedule is better than it was when my kids were really young,I train weights 4x a week (basically a bro split), low volume Cardio 30 mins a dayFull head of hairThis is possibly my peak…. I’m not aging I don’t have a few aches and pains, because I do… and I also have done extensive private bloodwork over the last few years and I know that all of my markers (of the 80 or so I’ve tested) are all in the optimal or good range (or at bare minimum the normal range)If you’re over 30 and your never done a full (full) panel, I’d highly recommend it. The bodybuilder panel on hellogoodlabs is a great start…
>>77268020After 30 fitness is for health, not aesthetics. You will never attract a mate as an old man lifting in the gym
>>77271883How the actual fuck do you have energy? I work 7am-5pm in an office and after walking my dogs and making dinner, I'm dizzy and about to crash out. Let alone care for kids and spend time with wife.
>>77271899Not that anon, but for me it's pure hatred for my former self. When the wife and kids are in bed, I do my workouts. Nothing huge, 30-40 minutes, three times a week. Adding to that I do all of my chores around town with a cargo bike so I get some cardio in as well.
>>77271899He doesn't have a day job, don't fall for his tricks
>>77271899I get up at 4am,Water, Coffee… shit… 4:30-5am stretching5-530 cardioBreakfast, work 7-3pm,Pick up kids,4pm ish weights, 5:30 dinner7:30 bedtime Everything gets stuffed in there somehow. All my housework and stuff is on the 3 days I don’t train (and mostly weekend), I food prep my lunches for 4-5 days at a time… wife takes care of a lot of stuff like groceries and cleaning. I’m in bed for 8 hours, probably get 7 ish hours of decent sleep these days, basically good energy… I’m definitely tired by the end of the day tho, But in terms of the training, my weight training is only maximum 1 hour, 4x a week
>>77271904I work 6 days a week 7-3pm homeboy, blue collar, outside Plus I take care of my own house and rural property and grow most of my own produce.
>>77271868short explanation: children are very stupid
>>77271913>Plus I take care of my own house and rural property and grow most of my own produce. So you're a millionaire, not exactly workable advice for most people
>>77271917Incorrect,My house was 175k, I bought it ten years ago. I live in a dirt poor rural part of the far north east, I earn a bit above the average salary and so does my wife. I have a vegetable garden in my front yard, a home gym you can see in the pics ($600 worth of shit, with no safety rails and wooden blocks under the squat rack) and 3 kids under the age of 6.
