today ive finally been able to bench 3x8 50kg
leanbulking from 65kg skinnyfat
is it unrealistic to hope I can bench 80kg by the end of the year, assuming i stay consistent 3 day fullbodys and high protein? is 80kg bench at my weight still newbie gains?

and by 80kg i mean 3x8 not just 1 max rep or something
>>
Maybe. Maybe not.

You should try and find out.

im around 60kg and I used to bench 60kg for sets. but now I follow a calisthenics routine.

moral of the story: yeah it is possible to bench heavy weights It just depends on your genetic strength and the strength you train al long the way.

for example: in my old gym there used to be this old man who was also skinny and very lean, and he did pushups with 1 hand and only using 3 fingers.

even if you can't reach you goal it is overall more healthier to keep working out. you could either make 0 to 100% progress or 0 to 30% progress that still makes you 30% stronger, fitter and healthier then you were before hand.

>3x8 50kg
I did this in September last year
Right now I'm benching 5x5x75kg
My recovery has not been optimal. There have been times in which my caloric intake and sleep were both in the gutter.

Your max 3x8 weight is probably around your 10RM, which, for me, is 70kg. If I trained optimally maybe it would've been 80kg right now. So yeah it's a realistic goal for 7 months
