>Who is /fat/ for?
For carbloading carnivores who are working towards a longer life and a better physique through meaningful hard-work, strategy, and dedication. This is not QTDDTOT, stick to questions on fat loss. Post height and weight when asking for advice.
Join our Fatty Contest: https://www.fattycontest.com/

>What do I do first?
1. Read https://physiqonomics.com/fat-loss/
2. Calculate your Body Fat Percentage: https://fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy
3. Calculate your TDEE: https://www.sailrabbit.com/bmr/
Remember to use bodyfat% and use Katch-McArdle Formula with sedentary settings or your TDEE will be too high.
4. Plan your weight loss: https://www.losertown.org/eats/cal.php
5. Track your nutrition with MyFitnessPal (better for packaged food), Cronometer (better for generic food/macros), LoseIt (great for both), or Waistline (FOSS).

>Now what?
Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per pound of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and lose fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body eating away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.
Read the /fit/ sticky: https://liamrosen.com/fitness.html

>DON'T
Eat refined sugars, they're terrible for you regardless of calories.
Eat processed foods.
Drink your calories (alcohol, soda, Starbucks).
Freak out over a weight loss stall. Plateaus can last up to three weeks.
"Reward" yourself. Cheat days cheat only yourself.

I felt kinda bad yesterday, I went to buy some cheese and olives at the store and there was a fat guy looking at the nutritional labels
I'm fat too but he was easily over 400lbs
my first thought was "good for him" and as I got closer I got hit with the most putrid stench I've ever smelled, he literally smelled like gym socks and onions, that type of nasty sickly sweet-ish smell and I instantly hated his fat ass for it

Carbs don’t even count if they’re taken with 3hrs of a workout. Negligible

For fat people who actually lost weight, at what weight did you notice your feet and ankles stopped hurting daily?

I've lost most of my weight (120lbs total so far) with about 15lbs left to drop to ideal weight. Frankly my feet still hurt a bit :/. Never really had any problem with my ankles.

I might be unlucky, but it seems to me like you might quite literally need to lose all of the weight for this to improve. Then again it may stay the same. IDK since I haven't reached the finish line yet. Sorry broseph.

Calorie measurements don't matter at all. For example protein can never cause obesity no matter how much of it you eat.
>>
>>77306066
The low T and expert in DYEL? Sure.
>>
>>77306044
in most of the studies that have been done unlimited calorie keto works while cico doesn't.
unlimited calorie is different than infinite calorie. infinite calorie is an impossible thought experiment that would instantly turn you into a black hole with infinite mass. unlimited calorie means that if you eat or don't eat isn't decided by meticulously estimating how many calories you've eaten today and how many calories the thing you are considering eating has, also known as calorie counting.
>>
>>77306044
Another proof that calories don't matter comes from type 1 diabetics. They can't gain weight without insulin injections.

Type 1 diabetics can underdose their insulin to stay slim. They call it "diabulimia". Look it up.

People can actually eat _more_ calories and lose weight. Here's an anecdote:

>I expected that even though I was eating 2500 calories a day, an increase of 500 calories a day for me, that I would not gain much weight, I already knew that eating fat and protein doesn't make you fat.
>The biggest and most unexpected change was losing so much body fat in the 30 days. I lost 19.6 pounds by the end of the month

it's hard to say exactly when it stopped, but my sw was 190 lbs and i used to get pretty terrible foot pain when standing for a few hours or walking for more than like 30 minutes. cw is 150 lbs and it's completely gone now. still overweight by bmi.

scam like every other supplement. your body makes creatine already and if you take a supplement it downregulates and you end up with a net of moderately more creatine in your system. Unless you're a vegan you don't need it.

It's an excellent recovery meal! Complex carbs 1h prior, protons and fast carbs immediately after. Blueberries are godtier, if you can collect your own even better.

>>77306302
It doesn't work for all, but it works for most. With it you can add intensity and volume. If you eat a shit ton of red meat you propably won't need it, but the best way to find out is to try. It increases water and glycogen volume in your muscles (making them full buffy boys), so eating a balanced diet works in synergy. I take it immediately post-workout.

like these ones cannot saturate their muscles past their "natural" values meaning they cannot reap the benefits of saturating with 5 grams per day. If you are very very fat you will benefit way more from focusing on losing weight, but creatine is dirt cheap and I don't think there's any reason to not taking it even if you are fat.
However it is not roids, it must be paired with resistance training to reap muscle benefits.
>>
How do i know if creatine works for me or not?
