has anyone dabbled with a high carb, low protein, low fat diet?
I am not trying to lose weight, but I have a sudden interest in meme diets and this sounds like the best one. A big bowl of rice will always look much better to me than a steak.

NGMI, I've read about them all on PubMed and they all suck for various reasons such as all the insulin resistance you'll get off this once, in addition to all your missing dietary minerals.

the only thing you'd really need to supplement is b12

Currently doing it actually. Started at 220 down to 212 in less than a month. I will note that since it's high carb, it's not glycogen or water weight. I do have oysters every now and then though because I'm not really ethically interested in veganism. Beans were a problem but I sprout them now which eliminates the digestive discomfort.

I've always done "low" protein though just out of the cost. I squatted 405lb on basically 60g of protein a day. Now I do hybrid calisthenics for convenience though.

My insulin is fine. Lifts are about the same but I dramatically increased my volume so I kind of expected that on a cut. I also have more energy for aerobic training which I usually always skipped.

Will probably post progress pics once the abs start showing better. My only concern with it is that every single high carb person is an endurance athlete, and they automatically have higher carbs/caloric requirements. The NSCA suggests up to 9g/kg of carbs for them.

I will not answer any bad faith questions from anonymous fatsos. My favorite thing about this diet is that I don't sleep all day, like they do.

how is your skin?
I used to always eat big bowls of rice, and I noticed it made my face pink and puffy after, but I wonder if that's due to the tons of salt and butter I added.

It's about the same as it was on my normal diet. I tend to only get pimples if I slack off on shaving since I have sensitive skin.

I don't really know anything in rice that would cause that, except maybe undercooked brown rice. It could be the butter. Some people break the fuck out after greasy meals, but some don't.

Homosexuality is rampant.

You're going to feel bloated and tired because your body is desperately trying to work on those carbs. Unless you are under your caloric deficit which means you're just starving yourself.
If it works for you, it might be in the moment. You see yourself live on this shit for the rest of your life?
