As someone who's been morbidly obese and lost 130blbs, be kind to fat people. I can tell you from experience it weighs on their mind 100% of every second of every day. They're obese because they're hopeless. They've tried and failed at losing weight so many times They've likely just given up. When you see obese people who aren't actively in weight loss it means they have lost the ability to see a brighter future for themselves. Plus they know firsthand that you're treated as a leper in society and have to go into every social interaction knowing that almost everyone hates them before they even say a word and wants to get away from them immediately. Its a tortured existence probably on par or worse than having an enormous ugly face tattoo. More than discipline or shame or guilt, fat people need hope.
