You can look like this just from dips & pullup? Is he just some genetic freak? Or anybody can look like this just from calisthenic? Which way fit?
>>77517531Sure, why not. You can tell by his posture and unbalanced but muscular physique that he's probably honest about it. Of course you can build muscle and even a decent physique doing calisthenics, it just takes a lot longer and is more difficult to progress. If someone comes here and asks "What's the best way to get jacked?" They typically mean the most efficient way more so than effectiveness alone and that's where lifting is superior.
He has kyphosis
>>77517542>Of course you can build "muscle" and even a decent physique doing whatever on roids. it won't be real muscle though, most of it will be watery bloat.course it will show what exactly you did exemercising > dips & pullup?then why is he as wide at the waistline ad the chest? he must have done some lateral twisty motions as well, little did he know that's not the "abs" he was looking for, no it's not "frame" :D >>77513995
>>77517531Do you just believe anything you read on the internet?
>>77517542What do you mean by unbalanced physique?I mean he doesn't look like some roided powershitter or something
>>77517531Most people can't stick with any method of training so they think that anyone who claims to have done it and gets decent results is either lying or some genetic freak. That dude is not a genetic freak, and he looks like what one would expect of someone who dos only vertical pulls and dips.Pullups are great for lats, lower traps, brachialis, brachioradialis and yes even biceps and rear delts. However they don't train the upper traps.Dips are great for triceps, lower pecs and maybe anterior delts, but they leave the upper pecs lacking.Upper traps and shoulders overall are visibly underdeveloped in that dude's physique shots. He's also not very lean as demonstrated by the fat hanging on his love handles and his hips are somewhat wide which make his physique look a bit weird.

>>77518909No, he looks like some aesthetic-focused roided bodybuilder
>>77517531>You can look like this just from dips & pullupNo, you can't.He, allegedly can. But you can't. Even if you could, why not pick the fastest and most efficient path there, which is always lifting weights?>>77518909>powershitterHas there ever been an intelligent post that used this term?
>>77519784How long do you have to 'stick with it'? I got up to 17 good chinups and still looked like a long distance runner. How many do I need to do to suddenly look like this?

>>77517542>They typically mean the most efficient way more so than effectiveness alone and that's where lifting is superior.A simple pullup has got to be one of the most efficient, effective exercises out there
>>77517531Calisthenics guy don't do only dips and pull upsThere are push ups, chin ups, handstand push ups, triceps extension on a bar, planche push ups, biceps curl on a bar, bodyweight rows, one arms bar rows, pistol squats, sissy squats Nordic curls. There are even more exercises tho
>>775198511 rep with 60kg attached on a dip belt pull up at minimum
>>77517531He had a follow up post where he said he tried weights out to see his strength and he said his squat was decent despite allegedly only doing sprints. That tells me he's a bullshit liar. Sprints do not improve heavy, slow strength.>yes they did for me (was also doing normal squats and just did some half-ass sprints once a week)No, they don't.If it wasn't for that I would possibly believe him. Training variety isn't more exercises, it's variation in load which calisthenics does with its form variations. The conventional (dyel) wisdom of "you can't have good lats without a dumbbell row" is hopelessly wrong and retarded.
