You don't get banned for saying nigger if you aren't somewhere were it's being reported. And such places are plenty on Discord.
You can't go from 4chan to reddit. That is impossible. If you are capable of censoring yourself so hard and accepting the circlejerking, you would have never been comfortable in 4chan in the first place.

If you like it or not, a 4chan -> Discord pipeline is far more likely than a 4chan -> reddit one.

And altchans tend to rot in tribalism. If they would be good, they wouldn't have lost all the activity they gained during the hack again.
You have to suck the cock of jannies and adhere to a fringe subculture that nobody wants, but some people roleplay for to get good boy tokens.

i recently wrote a media upload API that calculates hashes client side and sends it together with the file, so the server can do the deduplication immediately and cancel the upload, and if not, does itself the hashing after upload, including perceptional hash, exif filtering and all the other stuff that needs to be done.
I want to tackle the whole child porn spam issue upfront, so that i dont get into stressful situations later, when that inevitably happens.

I will use that for my own forum at some point as well.
The more shit i have to read on /g/, the more motivated i get.

We don't hesitate to kill competition in advance tech wherever necessary. ASML's existence today was because we wanted to sink the Japanese semi industry which was dominant at the time and the Dutch seemed like a neutral third party. All of the extreme ultraviolet litho R&D was conducted by US national labs. Props to ASML and Zeiss for taking it to the finish line where US firms failed though, pretty good job there I'll admit.
>>
Europes biggest problem is energy. Not too much of it sitting around for cheap.

Hydrogen future might change this. Sand batteries are an interesting technique although they most likely cannot be used for direct energy but just for heating purposes, which alone is big though. You still need to have your own batteries and solar panels and whatnot and not just buy everything from China.

I am currently in possession of a Dell Precision 5550 my school gave me and didn't ask for back; this happened 1.5-2 years ago so I forgot I even had it. I would like to use this as a personal laptop to replace my old desktop; however, the BIOS is locked, and it is running heavily restricted Windows, making it practically just a web browser.

I have already read a fair bit about how this is difficult but all info regarding actually unlocking it doesn't work--any advice? Is there a reliable way to do this without having to do anything to the BIOS chips? I am fairly technical but currently do not have access to the required tools for soldering/chip flashing. I do not have a USB-C flashdrive, but since I can't even open BIOS boot order due to admin lock, I doubt it would work.

Laptop model: Dell Precision 5550
Bios Version: 1.22.0
BIOS Mode: UEFI
CPU: i7-10750H
GPU: Quadro T2000 (Max-Q Design)
RAM: 32GiB

Should this be unfeasible/too painful, I am thinking of buying a ThinkPad P53 as an alternative.

I can provide more specifics if need be.

Is there some reason it's not possible to just remove some little DIP8 SPI NAND on the board and replace with a blank one? Do they cryptographically sign the locked state?
>>
>>107687221
wasn't specifically in reference to the OP but if you're still at it, secureboot has a massive flaw in that you just do a CMOS reset to clear the secure boot. Take out the battery for a while and/or touch the CMOS reset jumper and see if that clears the administrator password.
this has nothing to do with secure boot, your bios just has a password on it. And sometimes it can be removed with a CMOS reset.

>Is there some reason it's not possible to just remove some little DIP8 SPI NAND on the board and replace with a blank one? Do they cryptographically sign the locked state?
From what I can tell, those chips are now signed so it will just refuse to boot since it would fail the verification phase. Also, it appears that laptops now store the lock state in different chips now (such as the embedded controller).

>this has nothing to do with secure boot, your bios just has a password on it. And sometimes it can be removed with a CMOS reset.
On older machines doing a CMOS reset / removing the battery could clear the passwords, but modern enterprise Dells don't store that info in CMOS anymore; they are usually stored in NVRAM or the EC, making them vastly more difficult to clear.

>>107684206
just unscrew the bottom and pull out the bios battery to reset it.

Hi guys, I don't know why I'm writing this, but I believe in the power of the Internet, and that's why I'm writing. I live in Kazakhstan and I've been fucked up by the Kazakhtelecom Internet provider because they haven't been able to make my home Internet connection properly for a month, so I can't stand it because I pay $20 a month for the Internet in my currency and the quality of the Internet It's terrible how long I've been living, and it's not just with me, but with many people, they don't want to make a good Wi-Fi and I hate it, I don't know why I wrote it, probably because I wanted to talk it out

Have you tried how the ethernet connection is? Often the problem is shit ISP wifi access point, the solution is put own router with wifi behind ISP router, disable ISP router wifi, connect to own router.
ISP router LAN porf -> own router WAN port.
>>
>>107685828
You're using ADSL. No wonder your connection sucks. Switch to fiber or Starlink.
>>
>>107685828
It looks like you are using wifi. Start using an ethernet cable. If not possible, change to a less crowded wifi channel or switch to 5gz wifi. I have seen some apartment buildings with like 30 visible wifi access points on channel one. It can be unbelievably high packet loss when using crowded wifi channels.

if you had at least 128GB of RAM you could CPUmaxx, but 64GB is too small. the only model you could run is glm air but at a low quant and the model already kinda sucks at a high quant. your goal should be at least a Q2 of glm 4.6 or 4.7.

cheapness in modern society is weird. Everybody are a literal homeless who need find the cheapest worker in any activity.
We not have true robots and a post-scarcity economy because building the robot itself is expensive. Every activity (financial advisers, translators, lawyers, doctors, fast-food workers, retail workers, truck drivers, journalists and, poetically, computer programmers) is made by PEOPLE.

So, that raises the question of why wasting lots of resources (money, electricity, rare earths) in all those robots and AIs if they cant replace us. Every example of robot/AI in since 2021 are toys, unable of hit the low end of the labor market.

New version is out.

Also, why was my previous thread deleted? This is a software-based application explicitly engineered for operation within the computational and telecommunications framework of a handheld mobile device, ok? It is therefore unambiguously situated within the broader domain of contemporary technological systems, infrastructures, and applied digital sciences, and as such relevant to /g/.
