I have two music folder, one older with less songs, and a newer folder where I believe some files may be corrupted but also has more files and very slightly more organised (negligibly so), how can I tell which files are corrupted and then replace them with the old files and then delete the old folder? Do I just have to listen to every file and manually tell yup this one didn't fully play or play at all? I believe the corrupted files were caused by interruptions when transferring the files from one drive to another either using nautilus (gnome files) or rsync, Fedora 43 KDE, mostly flac but not all
>>
Been using Slackware for a few months and it's been too stable. Give me a fucking garbage distro I can throw grown man tantrums at trying to configure and fix.
>>
>>107682541
Use rsync for checksums to see what files are different. Might be suckage if structure is different between the folders though.

If I licensed a drawing under creative commons share-alike non-commercial license and an AI scraped it, would that make everything the AI generates creative commons as well? I mean that's how it works if a human took my drawing and transformed it so why not the AI.

But the licensing agreement from the original CRADA still holds and ITAR still applies. One of the original stipulations was that ASML was supposed to build the machines here, but the Clinton administration let them out of most of their obligations besides "no EUV to Chinks" and "pay us money".

No just financial aid, but foundational research. You can thank Ronald Reagan and his SDI spending spree for EUV. Unironically the next step into XUV or plasmonic nano-lithography below the diffraction limit will be due to laser weapons technology maturation. Pretty sure ASML is already working with the DoE again on these exact things at LLNL.

That is not even competition, they are so behind. Even if ASML stop researching and making new machines, chinks would be still at least 15 years behind.

>A devastation in the chain, like an invasion or natural disaster in Taiwan, would set the semiconductor industry back by decades while they re-establish and re-learn the proper techniques and processes.
If such a thing happened right now China would be in the best position to recover and dominate the following industry because they are the only country to own the entire manufacturing process. Western euv machines are spread out across the western hemisphere in both production pipeline and knowledge and specialization.

Looks good. No idea about the PSU, just refer to the OP for a high quality platinum/gold 850W, or if you really want that one because its white in particular and you want extra upgrade headroom then go for it. It's a bit overkill but the damn thing has a 10 year warranty and matches your b uild well so you really can't go wrong.
XL case variant is totally your call and preference. If GPUs get any longer or bigger God help us all, and we'll probably just have external enclosures for them kek

Maybe something like that. Because of course the EU is requiring that new phones, from 2027, have removable batteries:
>The European Union will soon require smartphone manufacturers to let users replace their batteries.
>The rules will come into force in 2027.

New Zeihan just dropped. Firstly, he says that Reuters article is straight up CCP propaganda, it's 100% fake, just another chinese psyop. 2ndly, even if it was true, it doesn't actually mean anything. It was directly reversed engineered and cobbled together via old ASML EUV parts, China didn't actually make anything themselves, they just glued a bunch of old ASML EUV parts together into a barely functional machine. They can't actually make any of the high tech parts themselves. They are still decades away from mass production of true EUV.

Let's look at the timeline here. As Zeihan states, it will be 2030 before they can produce a single chip from it. A super shitty chip with lots of defects and horrible yields as the EUV is a secondhand piece of shit, so it's not going to viable even for small scale production. It will take another decade after 2030 to improve the EUV machine until it has the performance of ASML's current EUV machines and and can actually fab 3nm nodes at a decent yield and performance.

And modern fabs needs like dozens of EUV machines per fabs for mass production, with hundreds of fabs needed to produce enough semiconductors for China's needs . Even with a truly viable EUV machine, China will need to build up the supply chain to mass produce the EUV to the tune of dozens a month to catch up to ASML and TSMC's output. Which will take another 15-20 years to build up the the immense domestic EUV supply chain within China.

So add everything together and we're looking at another 30-40 years before China can mass produce 3nm chips in bulk. And of course, in the 2050-2060s, ASML will be on next gen lithography beyond even high NA-EUV and TSMC/Intel/Samsung will be on picometer nodes. China will still be decades behind. In fact Zeihan says that 7nm will be the last major node that they will ever fab, after all as Zeihan also notes, don't forget that China is headed towards total economical and demographic collapse by 2030 anyway.

> The human senses of sight and hearing have a relatively high dynamic range. However, a human cannot perform these feats of perception at both extremes of the scale at the same time. The human eye takes time to adjust to different light levels, and its dynamic range in a given scene is actually quite limited due to optical glare. The instantaneous dynamic range of human audio perception is similarly subject to masking so that, for example, a whisper cannot be heard in loud surroundings.
> ...
> In practice, it is difficult for humans to achieve the full dynamic experience using electronic equipment. For example, a good quality liquid-crystal display (LCD) has a dynamic range limited to around 1000:1,[b] and some of the latest CMOS image sensors now[when?] have measured dynamic ranges of about 23,000:1.[15][c] Paper reflectance can produce a dynamic range of about 100:1.[16] A professional video camera such as the Sony Digital Betacam achieves a dynamic range of greater than 90 dB in audio recording.[17]
Is it not sufficient to capture HDR raw data and then map that to whatever range you want?

works on w11 with sdr monitor due windows uses 48bit backbuffer in dwm for mixed content that then gets converted into display native one in display kernel, so source bits -> 48bits backbuffer -> monitor bitdepth, one of actually good things with windows although most of other stuff is turning into rancid shit.
